September 28, 2013 10:04 pm If you look at Joss Whedon's track record on pilots, he doesn't really do big boom, lost monster mystery has your nuts and won't let go pilots - executive wants for that sort of thing is what got the Firefly pilot swapped around. Some "blink and you'll miss it" info moments: - Some of the people in Paris were Rising Tide, so they're not a one-woman show - Did they call the Paris blonde Longshot? And were they hellbent on not giving her the SAG 5 grand for a non-mute role, or does she have some weird accent IRL?
July 9, 2012 12:20 am You guys do know that no conversation on a comic book podcast about He-Man is complete without Tim Seeley.
December 26, 2011 1:08 am Can a new Secret Wars from Remender be an event in the making?
September 26, 2011 3:07 am The disappointing thing is that Judd Winnick wrote Power Girl after the Palmiotti/Connor run and he didn't turn her into a sexpot either. I guess something awesome like the Brubaker reboot is just too much to ask for.
May 12, 2011 1:50 am Don't forget Terra Nova. Because everyone loves dinosaurs. :)
May 12, 2011 1:03 am Fox did have the golden age of X-Files. Who knows what kind of dark sacrifice under a red moon had to happen for that to occur. This year Fox went and blew up a lot of its scripted television regardless of genre. Makes you wonder what they think they have to replace it all, unless a name change to "American Idol Channel" is in the works.
May 11, 2011 10:13 pm I don't hate Fox for cancelling shows. I hate Fox for managing shows into the ground. Firefly and Dollhouse were half dead at the start. They're the people who couldn't get viewers for Family Guy.
May 5, 2011 5:07 am Sadly there is just the air of inevitability about this. When flipping a commission on ebay will pay for a person's airfare and hotel stay, art scalpers will spring up like mushrooms. And then to add insult to injury, they feel that they can get better results by emotionally torturing the artist? As someone who's been on the list twice and come away empty handed, I fully understand Mr. Hughes' decision.

I would suggest that there is an opportunity to create some truely awesome convention pieces - Frank Cho / Adam Hughes Heroes Inititive Sketch Jam Auction? Yes, Please!
April 29, 2011 10:30 pm Oh wow. Now theres a scary thought. In each server, there is only one Wolverine, and people have to pay cash to take the wheel. Like a time-share. :)
December 27, 2010 10:22 pm What strikes me is the potential for cross advertising. There's already a bi-weekly comic solicited, and it ought to have virtual do-dad redemption codes for in-game stuff.
