This was a lot of fun. I was afraid they were going to take themselves too seriously like other D&D…

Another decent issue from Spider-Man, but I still want something more for this title.  I’m still not used to it…

Man this book needs to lose some people quick.  The whole time I had no idea who was talking to…

August 31, 2011 10:50 am Yea, I didn't like that such a major plot point was handled off-panel. Flash was supposed to be our POV character so for it to turn out that he knew what was going on this whole time while we didn't makes no sense. I mean if he saved his mom then why was he so confused when he ran into her in Issue 1? Also why would Flash go back in time and change the future? Has he not seen every time travel movie ever? My final verdict on Flashpoint is that its a whole bunch of cool ideas wrapped around a bad plot.
August 31, 2011 2:45 am SPOILERS AHEAD OK. So I'm confused. When did Barry Allen go back in time to save his mom? Was this in a comic somewhere?
August 19, 2011 2:08 pm Yea, I'm done with X-Men. Marvel is just taking advantage of their fans when they're double shipping 6 books. I'm on the lookout for an interesting team book, now. I'm thinking either Thunder Agents or an indie.
August 11, 2011 2:48 pm I enjoyed her reaction to him saying that Bruce would grow up to be just like him.  I didn't like the explanation for how she became the joker.  It was obvious and didn't make me feel like it was any less contrived that, because HE is Batman, SHE is the Joker.
August 4, 2011 1:47 pm BTW, guys, thanks for not covering said conservative commentator's comments yesterday. I'm really proud that the mainstream comic book press decided not to give him any more publicity.
July 28, 2011 10:00 am As someone who only recently started reading New Mutants, I appreciated a nice catchup issue.  It was also nice to finally see Nathan in action, since he was the focal point of the last storyline but spent it mostly strapped to a table.  I was going to drop it for the Fear Itself crossover but I might continue picking it up of DnA are still on it.
July 28, 2011 9:58 am Oh man this was so good.  I was afraid that with the reveal two issues ago that this issue would be kind o of predictable, but even though I knew the ending, I did not expect that great scene between Dick and The Joker.  I can't wait till next issue.
July 25, 2011 1:43 pm They wrapped up the X-Man story in the last issue, didn't they?
July 8, 2011 9:37 am @conor & @MisterJ : I don't think we're ever going to agree on this.  I do agree that it was a decent twist in that I didn't see it coming.  I just wish Martha Wayne had had her own identity that tells us more about her character rather than have the Joker identity put on her.
July 7, 2011 4:29 pm @conor  Right.  And I understand how that would turn one of them into a villain.  But why the Joker?  There's absolutely no reason for it to have been the Joker.  The Joker didn't exist before Bruce's death.  The only reason for it to be the Joker isn't a story reason.  It's for that "What a twist!" moment.  They might go out of their way to explain it in the next couple of issues but it still feels like a cheap shock.
