August 21, 2013 8:30 pm Wow congrats! I'll miss you guys in NYC - I was there for #100 and #200. I'll make a trip to JHU in your honor.
August 21, 2013 6:12 pm I'm so tired of Luthor and Zod as Superman villains. They are at opposite extremes. I think Brainiac would be the perfect villain for the next Superman film.
April 20, 2013 7:07 pm That's my biggest concern too. I know it has to be done, but the whole origin thing is so well known I hope they get to the cape and costume sooner rather than later. That was my only gripe about Thor, too.
January 22, 2013 2:21 pm If we expanded to 10 I would include the Toonseum in Pittsburgh. It is a great little place that features exhibits of everything from comic strips to super hero movie memorabilia.
September 4, 2012 5:58 pm Coil Man from the Impossibles? Anyone??
August 22, 2012 6:06 pm Did anyone see the brilliant article on NPR featuring Supes and WW's texting on the morning after? I damn near peed myself http://www.npr.org/blogs/monkeysee/2012/08/22/159756428/im-im-im-superman-morning-after-texts-between-superman-wonder-woman
July 30, 2012 10:57 am It is probably better not to start that whole discussion up again here. Do a search either on this site or on the web in general you'll find tons of examples and arguements.
June 1, 2012 2:55 pm As a gay man, I hereby commandeer the phrase "go full queer" as my own.
March 14, 2012 11:18 pm I often tell the same story. Dad brought me random books home from the 5&10 when I was home sick from school back in the 70's. I still remember those mid-70's JLA and FF stories better than books I read 12 months ago. Probably because I pored over every panel and took them with me every time we went on a car ride longer than 10 minutes.
January 18, 2012 2:27 pm I love my LCS but it is so incredibly crowded and cluttered you can barely move. The staff, however, is terrific and I get a whopping -20% as a subscriber. The two nicer, cleaner, more "professional" looking shops nearby are full of stuck up snobs who trail you around the shop and have such a superior attitude. I'll take my hole-in-the-wall shop any time.
