February 2, 2013 4:16 pm Kind of. Virgil Hawkins is Static Shock.
May 15, 2012 12:25 pm It's about time Deadenders was collected. I love that book. The end of that book was truly a gut punch to me.
January 9, 2012 5:01 pm The reasoning here is hurting my head. So, it's okay to see the Death Star blow up a planet, tons of X-Wings getting shot down, the Hoth base battle with Snowspeeders being shot down and crushed and Luke's hand getting lopped off but breastfeeding is taboo. Wow. And I thought the general violence is more acceptable than sexuality was disturbing.
November 8, 2011 9:36 am I give Batman: TAS a lot of credit. It's an amazing show and the only one on the list I'd watch a second time. My list: 5. Batman: TAS 4. Wolverine and the X-Men 3. The Batman (an amazing and underrated series) 2. X-Men Evolution (my favorite X-Men show ever) 1. Spectacular Spider-Man (RIP)
November 7, 2011 2:07 pm I'm buying a Kindle Fire for a few reasons. One of them is that I have $170 in Amazon gift cards. More importantly, I'm more confidant in Amazon being around to support the device and they have said that they're not going to lock out hackers from the device. That sort of openness is important to me.
November 2, 2011 1:58 pm Interesting stuff, all! Beyond comics, I'm really into 2D fighting games. I actually created and run a site on The King of Fighters. I'm also into old-school Transformers and art in all of its forms.
October 20, 2011 11:23 pm Awesome list! Grendel: Devil by the Deed was the first OGN I ever bought and it blew my 12-year-old mind. I was interested in it after reading a few issues of the Grendel series. I still remember the nervous feeling of buying Grendel at the local drug store and the fear of the lady behind the register calling me out on buying a mature reader book. As good as the post-Brian Li Sung Grendel stories are, I still prefer the Hunter Rose and Christine Spar stories.
August 31, 2011 7:20 pm The book is downloading as I type this. I hope the GL stuff doesn't annoy me too much. I cannot stand Hal Jordan.
August 8, 2011 11:43 pm Marvel Adventures Spider-Man is amazing! Paul Tobin has created a book with continuity but nothing so involved as the 616 or Ultimate titles.
