March 19, 2013 7:56 pm i know I'm am of the minority but i feel this is just meandering to nowhere. A book of pretty pictures peppered with dialogue that is intended to sound hip or controversial (you'll know what i'm talking about after this issue in regards to the latter), while just coming off like it is trying to hard. BKV is a lot like Bendis to me, quipy, flashy, but short in substance. Of course, this is just IMO

October 20, 2012 2:40 pm i kinda wish he would just get that convenient amnesia characters often get so he could be a fresh new hero, still struggling with psychosis but without the guilt and need to redeem himself. I'd rather see him as a loner, struggling to find who he was in a sea of inner-personas while on the run from criminal misunderstandings via his unstable mentality.

In the words of Jules, "Bitch be cool!" the art is amazing, looks like an actual photograph. we should be praising the art and artist not looking for something to be cynical about.

August 24, 2012 3:47 pm JL Dark was my MOST anticipated release of the new 52 and thought i had potential to be a real hip, counter-culture, occult book. but they've been cluttering, misstepping and back treading since issue 1. Other 'dark' characters (re: I,Vampire, Amythyst, Swamp Thing) cameo for an issue and use it as a rock to step on to holding their own title meanwhile JL Dark loses any steam it might have had. Wonder Woman. My god. That book is do damn good.
