This is one of those books that just kind of keeps going. I don’t mean that in a negative way….

July 18, 2013 9:36 pm What did you think of the Gibbons/Sook Kamandi in Wednesday Comics? (Still one of my favourite projects in AGES!)
July 18, 2013 9:33 pm Awwww! They broke my cardinal rule of entertainment: don't kill the dog!
July 17, 2013 10:32 pm Despite my name, Metamorpho actually didn't make it into my top 5. And my top five would probably change depending on the day. But, in no particular order: 1) The Creeper: There's just something I really dig about the character: the pre-demon, pre-joker-related, pre-new 52 version, that is. Little kooky, Jekyll and Hyde thing going on. 2) Aquaman: Always loved the character - and swimming. Plus: super beautiful redhead wife! 3) Hawkman: It might be a confusing life, but I like the idea of being a flying badass who knows how to use the weapons of the past 4) Black Lightning: Always dug the electric powers. 5) Hourman: There's just something oddly appealing about having powers for an hour at a time And the only reason I didn't say Flash is 'cause there are so many Flashes listed already!
July 17, 2013 10:20 pm My LCS owner and I were talking about the upcoming Flashpoint movie and he said he thought it was a strange choice. I said, "I wonder if they are going to use it to lead in to a new 52 series on animated movies." I thought with the new 52 figures in Target and Wal-Mart, they might try switching over their animated universe as well, just t for the cross marketing. Who knew I might be onto something? My hope is, if they continue to go the new 52 in animated movies route, they go off the beaten path a bit. (Mainly because an OMAC cartoon or Frankenstein cartoon could be so cool!)
June 25, 2013 10:13 am My pull list is CRAZY this week! But I would probably put my most excited/most intrigued as Superman?Batman just because I want to see the art - I suspect it will be beautiful! As for the BQ, as odd an answer as this might be, I'd say a 1974 4-Door Dodge Cornet. Because I drove one in my youth and it's all metal - now THAT'S a safety feature!
June 17, 2013 12:05 pm Haven't read the Injustice comic so I guess we'll see what happens. Very disappointed Robinson is leaving though. Especially when he had some long-term plans for the book.
June 16, 2013 12:38 am I primarily read DC but have hopped back into Marvel on a few titles. Thor is one of them. This issue is why. Utterly amazing. The book almost felt lyrical, truly invoking a sense of mythology. Can't argue with this as Pick of the Week. It's just too good.
June 11, 2013 4:35 pm I was worried...and now, I'm just psyched! Lookin' good!
May 24, 2013 3:19 pm I like the animation style they've chosen for this - much better than some of the designs in recent ones. (Don't get me wrong; I've still enjoyed the others, but I feel like I would have loved - for example - Superman versus the Elite a bit more without the jutting cartoon chin Superman.)
May 22, 2013 11:21 am Remember how some folks were complaining about the lack of big action in the previous movie? Looks like that's not the case here. This is the summer movie I'm waiting to see. I may even take the day off work to go. THAT'S how much I want to see this movie.
