November 12, 2015 8:19 pm I'm not sure how I would tank you, so here's a high 5 ***
November 12, 2015 8:17 pm As requested, I just wanted to drop a line and tank you guys for entertaining me for 10 years. You don't know me, but you guys are my comic friends that keep a hobby that I love that much more enjoyable. Cheers, and here's to 10 more, which would probably make all of us feel old. Many Thanks! Ian from Montreal!
September 1, 2013 9:52 pm The pull list is amazing, but I agree with the call of having the podcast be the remaining vestige.
September 1, 2013 9:42 pm PS: Can you guys do a six feet under season finale episode and let us know what you will be doing now?
September 1, 2013 9:33 pm This is really sad. You mentioned it on your 400 podcast (which I watched in its entirety on youtube) that people think they know you. I am one of those people, and I am very emotional right now. While reading your post, I can walk away knowing that one of my favorite parts of the week will continue. The podcast. I have literally listened to each and every one of them. I actually listened to these podcast for over a year before even visiting the site. So I am happy that Josh, Paul and Conor (and Ron) will remain my friends that I get to converse with every Monday on my morning commute. Thanks, for everything, and know that you are all very special to many people, including me.
June 15, 2013 11:30 pm Unfortunately I can't remember the last time I have been more disappointed in a movie. So much destruction, so much collateral damage. I couldn't help but think that superman would never let that happen. Almost no humour in the film. I like the more earth based superman, so I had trouble caring about a bunch of aliens invading earth. That is not superman to me (even though there are tons of stories about that) I like to believe that Supes could find a better way than to kill. I liked the actors a lot however. Sorry if this is a little disjointed, but the movie isn't really worth the time it would take to structure a coherent critique.
March 22, 2013 10:14 pm I don't know if you are being sarcastic, but there was not one double page spread. Each page was went to be viewed in landscape on a tablet or widescreen monitor. I thought it worked great.
March 22, 2013 7:49 am Great choice! Martin's art is always worth something, and BKV is one of my favorites of all time. I was not really into digital a year ago. Two things changed. 1) I bought a tablet 2) Marvel has free dowload codes I probably wouldn't have read comics digitally with a tablet. I am still stuck in my backwards mindset that I like to have a paper copy (Although 30+ Longboxes is changing my mind). Marvel's free (for 3.99) offer made me decide to redeem the code, and now I read anything with the code on my tablet while I commute. I love it now. So a year ago, when I would have ignored or waited for the paper release of the issue, now I had no problem plopping down $2 and reading it. Between this and Saga, I am in heaven.
January 18, 2013 8:00 pm Congrats Ron. But, I can't believe how sad I feel. I am not a regular poster, but have been a loyal listener since the beginning of 2006. It is hard to imagine the podcast without you. I appreciate all of you, but I seemed to agree with you the most. Fly you fool! Welcome to my weekly routine Paul!
June 15, 2012 7:43 pm Loved this weeks selection. MCA + Noto = Oh yeah Justice League and Phoenix were rad too.
