Name: Mike Dreyer

Bio: I'd categorize myself as a recreational comic reader.  Growing up I read the occasional comic here and there, usually when someone gave me them as a gift or if one caught my eye in the grocery store spinner rack.  I was mostly drawn into the world of comics through 90's Saturday morning cartoons such as X-Men and Spider-Man and became a huge Spidey fan.  It wasn't until college that I actually started collecting and routinely buying comics and I mostly stuck to ASM or the big Marvel events.  Now I mostly read Spidey, X-Men, and Avengers but I'm more than willing to try other things especially when they're recommended by the guys at iFanboy.

March 26, 2013 1:59 pm Good article Jim. I was there on Saturday and had a blast! I'm from STL and this was my first con and I couldn't have been happier. I really hope Wizard World saw this con as success enough to make it a regular event. Hopefully they'll be able to continue to draw in more big name talent. Besides the absolute thrill of meeting and getting Stan Lee's signature, the highlight of the con for me was facetime with Chris Samnee (who is SUPER nice, btw!) I'm just bummed out I was too late to commission a sketch from him :(
February 13, 2013 2:35 pm Thank you Rick Remender for an awesome run. I REALLY like Remenders Deadpool and the scene between him and Evan was really good. This issue was a great ending to the run and tied everything together nicely.

July 21, 2011 11:11 am These both have me excited and REALLY wishing I had more time for gaming.  The RPG aspect of X-Men Destiny along with Silicon Knights peaked my interest (I actually really liked Too Human).

I enjoyed "Human Target" and will miss it but I'm REALLY mad that they've cancelled "The Chicago Code"!  I guess there isn't any room on Fox for a show that requires more than a third grade education to get into.  Make room for more mindless crap.
