The Mastodon score (what we heard of it) was the best part, and Josh Brolin had one good line (the one about the horse). That’s about it, a huge wasted opportunity especially with that cast.

Also the Neveldine and Taylor script wasn't used other than the opening part which I think is a shame since they are going to be blamed for this mess.

And no way is Punisher War Zone worse than this movie, PWZ was at least fun, and had some funny moments even if unintentionally so.

April 23, 2010 8:36 pm that's actually the second time they have homaged The Killing Joke. In last year's "The Coon" episode, they had a scene very similar to the one where Joker attacks Batman in the carnival.
April 12, 2010 5:45 pm might have to check that out. I think Cornell will be a good fit for that book.
April 8, 2010 4:46 pm also Supes and Wonder Woman in Dark Knight Strikes Again.

great review Conor!

always love seeing any positive talk about Morrison's Batman run.

I have to say though it might be blasphemy to say but i think the Red Hood arc is my favorite of the run so far, story-wise at least. The art didn't bother me as much as it did everyone else though.

March 25, 2010 1:04 pm a trailer hasn't excited me this much since the 2nd Dark Knight trailer where we finally got to see the Joker. It looks like they did a great job overall, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead is a perfect Ramona.
March 17, 2010 1:33 pm I don't mind Beechen (really enjoyed his Robin run), but Ryan Benjamin being the artist on this project worries me. I'll still at least give the first issue a shot.
March 13, 2010 8:26 pm I think this move is for the best. I don't think Hack/Slash was getting the right amount of attention at Devil's Due when it really should of been it's flagship book. Hopefully being at Image will give it a nice boost in sales/visibility.

glad to see Guerrillas will be coming back in some form or another, i thought Brahm had pretty much abandoned it at this point so i am happy to see it returning.

also looking forward to Spell Checkers, The Sixth Gun, Mondo Urbano, Petrograd, and Frenemy Of The State.
