March 10, 2011 7:45 am Did anyone else feel this book was poorly printed? Moore's art was solid, but the resolution on some of the panels seemed pretty fuzzy.
February 21, 2011 7:52 pm @djd At the end of the Nomad backup in issue 614: 'Next: The Final Chapter'. Sounds like 615 will be the last issue with the Nomad backup.
    February 21, 2011 3:58 pm What a cover!
November 22, 2010 6:04 pm Really looking forward to this; both the feature and the Gordon backup.

    Don't like paying $3.99...

Now that ASM is coming out bi-weekly instead of thrice monthly we'll pay less per month for the book. I think the monthly page count is around the same, if not more. So we're getting the same amount of Spidey for less. Sorry you're not digging this, man.

November 11, 2010 6:57 pm @Malacema Shed was one of the top arcs of The Gauntlet for me. I'd love to see Bachalo back too.
November 10, 2010 11:16 pm @oopsxlandmine I warmed up to Azaceta after a few issues of Origin of the Species but I think I prefer Ramos, too. Based on this issue I'd say he's grade A. Who'd you like to see penciling this book?
November 10, 2010 9:55 pm @thompsonlive Cheers, man. I hope you enjoy Big Time.
November 10, 2010 9:25 pm @thompsonlive Man, I'm looking at my comment and it assumes you know nothing about BND or current Spider goings on. Apologies; I meant to be helpful not rude.

@oopsxlandmine Agreed re: 'Spidey and Petey both upstage'. Slott's writing a complete Parker. I hope he keeps that up. How good does Ramos's work look in this issue? With due respect to Mr. Romita Jr., Ramos is drawing a much finer Spider-Woman.

@thompsonlive I think you'd be just fine jumping on here. I'm not sure that reading the previous arc, Origin of the Species (ASM 642-646), is going to enhance your experience of Big Time, but it was a lot of fun. I let the arc collect (which doesn't take very long when the book is coming out bi-weekly) and read the complete story in one sitting. You could check out ASM 647 which signals the end to Brand New Day and summarizes some of the changes to the spider-status quo. Or you can avoid the 4.99 price tag and let wikipedia bring you up to speed. All that being said, I think you could read Big Time with no knowledge of Brand New Day and enjoy it.
