August 22, 2013 12:04 am Glad to see this book get some love.
August 11, 2013 1:27 pm @ithosapien warning don't read any superhero comics from the silver age haha
July 16, 2013 1:14 pm @ctrosejr they dont care if the general public (which is the audience they really want to sell to) knows what the story is about, they just want them to know that its Justice League or Batman or Superman. I don't mind that, if they actually do a teen titans judas contract animated movie and call it justice league jr on the packaging I'll be ok with it at this point,
July 16, 2013 12:50 pm lol @alexhoward beat me to it. Im a Geoff Johns fan, but this arc was disappointing. Darkseid was just a lame generic villain with a 90's marvel redesign in this. JL has gotten better, and all the dcu animated movies have been enjoyable, I'm sure they'll change a few things around here and there. One thing I've learned, when they adapt specific stories, they may leave some things out or change certain details, but never once have I thought they made it worse then the source material.
May 31, 2013 1:01 am Is that Alex Ross piece from any particular comic? Its effin adorable
May 20, 2013 2:03 pm what was the premise of Justice League: Another Nail?
May 11, 2013 3:30 pm Azzarello and Chiang have been killing it on the current WW series, and Grant Morrison's name alone will probably get people averse to WW to pick this up. Not to mention the great art by Paquette, who's one of those guys that I seem to keep forgetting, but every time I see his stuff I love (his Swamp Thing run was excellent). Despite some great runs in the past by Perez, Rucka, Simone etc... people still complain that there aren't any good WW stories...hopefully this help in rectifying that school of thought.
April 17, 2013 3:35 pm How can you be a judge of a medium while not sampling work by some of that particular mediums greatest creators? and why ? because those creators took part in a comic event that was a prequel to a story you thought was untouchable and shouldn't be done? it's one thing to not read those before watchmen comics but to blacklist those creators based on that? Its not like they made anti semitic remarks or something equally horrible. Go F*** yourself Frank Santoro. You should be trying to promote the best and brightest in the field instead your holding a stupid fanboy grudge that might keep people from discovering some great work (i'm not talking about the before watchmen stuff either, but anything that might get someone new into Darwyn Cooke or Joe Kubert etc) because sometimes when people see "award winning" on a product it might pique their interest and help sell some more copies of those things we all like, aka comic books.
