May 28, 2012 10:14 pm The art and Tim Drake are the only things going for this book. We get teased over and over that something big is in Kid Flash's back story, but we still know little to nothing; and they tease it pages at a time. Pages! I'll see where this dinosaur story goes, but it will pain me greatly to drop this since this is the only home for Tim Drake (gets nothing over in the Bat books: nothing). :(
May 28, 2012 10:08 pm This is a bad issue, not because the Talon's story wasn't good (it was awesome!), but because the cover is Tim, the solicitation says "Red Robin", and he's in one panel at the end. I really think he's only considered part of the Bat family because the fans talk about it. What a disgrace, and because of it, Judd's story is forgotten. :(
May 28, 2012 10:03 pm The delay, the wait, and this issue couldn't make me not care for this conclusion anymore. If it starts getting good, I'll check it out digitally, but until then, I'm done. First "big" Bat book I've dropped since coming into comics, which was right before the start of Grant's run :(
April 16, 2012 3:37 pm So where was the Wondergirl vs Ravager fight that "Battling Bobbie" said happened in this issue from Teen Titans #7? Aside from that, the issue was good but not the best of the title. This whole Culling story set up is depressing me, and next month might be tough to get through. Any story where teens are forced to beat the crap out of and kill each others bothers me, but if it gets too frustrating, I'll just drop the titles. Here's hoping for the quick and vicious downfall of N.O.W.H.E.R.E.! (though I bet they'll just retreat to a dark cave for a while and be back in greater numbers; that's comics :) )
March 17, 2012 12:02 pm This episode was okay, but the teases bothered me. I'll look forward to next week's new episode :)
March 5, 2012 9:50 pm I'm just not a fan of goggles; Kid Flash, Catwoman, whoever, I just don't like them. Other than that, I'm not bothered nor surprised to see this. Oh well.
March 3, 2012 6:19 pm Great episode; a very clever use of Captain Marvel's/Shazam's difference from other heroes.
February 24, 2012 1:03 pm This issue was awesome! The cameos on the two-page spread were lots of fun, and the mystery character in the orb was no surprise. I loved it.
February 13, 2012 4:59 pm Like everything, it's not confusing once you get to know it. However, I also think this is too soon. Like the artcile mentioned, haven't even had a present day Justice League story, and we're going to start setting up a big crossover; I can only guess this is leading to a new Crisis on Infinite Earths. There's a lot more stories DC could aim for before jumping on that story line. This reminds me of Blackest Day. We had the great Sinestro Corps war end with a teaser of other corps and the Black Lanterns. However, instead of exploring all those corps, we looked at a few and jumped right into Blackest Night where the Indigos made their first true appearance. Now we're finally going to learn who they are long after I thought we should have. Whatever the reason, I think this is more driven by the need for revenue events bring in. I'd personally take more time in establishing one world and set of characters before another, adding more depth for those crossover/big event storylines and fan enjoyment, but maybe financial research goes against me. I'll be checking out the Earth-2 stories, mainly because I'm a fan of those writers, and I'll see how this all unfolds before coming across as too negative (unless I've already failed there when that wasn't my intention.) As PhantomPhrenemy said, "Brign it!" lol
January 31, 2012 11:20 pm This is going to take some characters back down some familiar paths but the reasons for the conflict are a lot more interesting than I'd suspect younger kids would like to read about, but the show did it too and that's why I love it.
