I’ll start by saying that I’ve read some JMS I liked (Silver Surfer: Requiem), and I’ve read some JMS I…

I’ve noticed a cliché trend with this series: Either you love it, or you hate it. To contrast it with…

June 4, 2011 1:49 am Loved the movie. Worked well as an origin story and a (yes at some times rather boring, but not so bad as to make me not like it) stand-alone plot. Don't give a rats ass if it meshes with comics continuity, and frankly no one else should either. It actually makes me glad I don't read X-Men, cause I wouldn't want to turn into someone like that.

Absolutely loved most of the acting (mostly Erik, Charles, Shaw, and especially Beast) except for Mystique and Havok. Emma Frost was just ok too. Not terrible (people just hating on her because she's not skinny enough obviously). Some scenes were forced, Beasts silouhette walk-in, the quick cut to Darwin when Erik says the word "slavery" had me laughing for a good 30 seconds. Put mostly I'd be nit-picking if I continued.

3.5/5 Very solid, greatness of acting overcomes anything else wrong with the movie
June 3, 2011 4:38 pm Ribic needs to do more work. Anything he touches I love. Anyone who never read Sub-Mariner: The Depths should, such great artwork.
October 13, 2010 8:34 pm My prediction: they go really off the path they've established and the whole movie is about Etrigan the Demon, played by Tom Hardy.
July 20, 2010 1:48 am I honestly thought I would never see this.
July 20, 2010 1:40 am Didn't Kirkman say a long time ago that this the issue where he introduces the aliens?

Nothing to do with the book really, but I'm psyched because I just found out the chief editor on this book shops at my comic shop.

Definitely gonna buy it regardless, I liked the preview.

May 24, 2010 8:40 pm Nice, I thought this would never see the light of day.

I won't spoil it, but basically the year long arc of Red Robin finished up; there was some amazing interaction between Tim and Ra's al Ghul, and a lot of Bat characters and Titans characters had cameos. The issue was basically a take on how Tim is exactly like Bruce in some respects, but also how he's completely different in others. Plus there was a nice little twist at the end which sets us up for some interesting future stories. Oh, and the art wasn't half bad either.

I never realized how much I loved Conor until this episode.

April 18, 2010 6:56 pm I'd have to agree with Ron, Flash #1 was definitely potw and probably the best book of the year so far at least.
