February 17, 2012 12:34 pm I think there were a lot of great points brought up in this article. I personally have no problem with the character, I've liked most of the stuff they've been doing with him since his Mighty Avengers team, but I really do feel like they need to get past his hang ups with Wasp. And I don't just mean the slapping, I mean all of it. Maybe Josh is right, maybe the only way to make that happen is to kill him off in one final blaze of glory. But personally I think acceptance, instead of redemption, is a better route. If writers would just allow Pym to accept his demons and then push him forward in a new direction(which it seems when they try to take a step in that direction they eventually take 2 back). Pym's a smart sciency guy, those are a dime a dozen in comic books. There has to be something else to give him a focus, something beside bringing the Wasp back, teaching 'bad' children, or what have you. But I honestly don't see any of that happening. Let's have him ride the missile, that would be fun at least.
February 9, 2012 11:24 pm I'm glad someone else pointed this out. I instantly thought I was given some fake copy.
February 9, 2012 3:36 pm I hope that really is beast boy. He was my favorite character of the past Teen Titans stuff. I'm still not convinced we needed yet another teen hero book, but since I never read Gen 13(and this certainly seems to be going for the new DCU version) I'll give this a try. Also as for the tron suits, it was mentioned(on twitter) that those were meant for the crossover but they weren't sticking around.
February 3, 2012 3:41 pm See I've noticed inconsistencies, but I never realized there was a likely reason behind that. I have a feeling I'm going to start noticing it more now.
February 3, 2012 3:30 pm Starfire will bring a smile to any man.
February 3, 2012 3:21 pm Completely agreed. I thought maybe there was some deeper issue, so I thought I'd ask. It always fascinates me how radically different the viewpoint on art can be. Just like how some people detest photo realism and some people love it.
February 3, 2012 2:57 pm I'm not sure I understand the hate for Greg Land, I don't mind his art at all. Could be a similar instance with my opinions on Romita Jr.
February 3, 2012 10:22 am Oh Phil Noto, you make some pretty ladies.
January 23, 2012 3:36 pm I really enjoyed this book and it really felt like it was starting to pick up steam, so I'm sad to see it go. But then again it's always nice to get a complete story .
January 13, 2012 1:58 pm I really didn't like Smallville, so I'm initially wary of this, but I would love it if they actually did it right. It's a bummer it's CW because they'll instantly cast some young hunk of a man to be Ollie. Oh well.
