February 15, 2011 8:16 am When Dan was at the Dublin Comic Con in Ireland a couple of years ago he said that he had written a load of stories that have never seen print, among them the Punisher. With Vertigo now releasing their long hidden stories in Vertigo Resurrected, does he think that he will ever get to see his stories in print?

Thanks,

June 28, 2008 8:28 pm I am blown away by the news. Not many on this side of the atlantic knew who he was but those who did will feel a huge loss at his passing. I always loved his art and he will be sadly missed. RIP man.
May 24, 2008 7:56 pm I totally appreciate IDW bringing this franchise to life again in comics but my only crtitisism is that although the stories are outstanding for me because I know the sourse novel material they can be seen as not great juping on points for new readers although I am sure that can be counter argued by someone so I will give an example. In this issue Isis the cat spontaneously transforms off panel between a woman and a cat. I have read the novels and know what is going on but John Byrne doesn't really explain it so if a neww reader comes in on issue one they may not pick up issue 2 because they may be lost.
May 24, 2008 7:52 pm I really felt that mike Carey pulled it out of the bag for this issue. The continuing tension between Reed and Sue felt real with Reed following Sue around asking is there a chance for reconciliation. Sue talking to her friend who subtley comes on to her by suggesting semi playfully she try lesbianism. The pencils by Kirkham felt tighter in this issue and not as loose as the last chapter of the last arc and it bodes well for the coming issues in this series.
