March 29, 2013 5:46 am I don't do much in the way of extreme, but I wear super hero t-shirts on almost a daily basis. I have more of them than I do any other kind of shirt. Sometimes people ask, and most are surprised that I have the collection I do or that I'm into comics at all. I'm in my 40s with 3 teenage daughters. My family and friends are the ones who get me the shirts so they all know how much I love comics. I've never had a negative reaction to my hobby from anyone, at least not to my face!
March 19, 2013 3:47 pm The TT show looks awful. I realize they didn't specifically cancel YJ to put this on, but I would rather watch reruns of the old Teen Titans show than this. Hopefully the Batman show will be good! I already miss YJ!
February 1, 2013 10:37 am The Human Torch sketch is awesome and the Nostalgia is amazing. I can either name the character or the show it was from. Ahh, those were the days!
January 29, 2013 4:16 pm I was upset when I read this yesterday, and I'm still ticked now. My daughter, 13, loves this show and Adventure Time. Surely there is room on TV both of these shows?! And if not, dump the stupid AT!
January 27, 2013 12:21 pm While I did watch the previous Teen Titans, I wish it had been a little more...something. I much prefer YJ in it's stories and art, and the last thing I want to see is an iteration of the Titans that is less serious than this last one. I can't see myself watching it at all. I'm not big on all the shorts and I fast forward through them.
January 26, 2013 4:35 pm This is absolutely one of, if not THE, comic book based cartoon ever. If they cancel it after 2 seasons it would be a crime. Is CN gonna keep the DC block? Replace YJ with the new Batman series?
January 10, 2013 8:13 pm For most of the reasons above, I have to agree with Neal Adams. Jim Aparo would come in second. They were the guys that did most of the Batman stories I read when younger, so that's the Batman that I grew up with. More serious than the previous years, really getting away from the TV show camp that infected the comics at that time. Not to mention, I met Neal Adams at a convention and he was a super nice guy!
November 19, 2011 8:04 am This has got to be one of the best animated shows made recently. The storylines are great, and I love the steady inclusion of the Justice League. The art if fantastic, and most of the dialogue is "believable" (and, yes, this episode was written by Peter David). This episode is just another in a great line of shows.
