Batman and Robin is an interesting series. The first arc of the series with Morrison and Quietly was an instant…

January 25, 2012 8:17 am This story arc is NOT tied into AvX. 22-25 is drawn by Hardman, this issue is drawn by Zircher, and NON of these issues tie-in to AvX. Starting with issue #26 Hardman is taking a break and the title WILL tie in, but that is NOT the case for this arc. If you want a taste of this series, this is where to start.
January 24, 2012 9:08 pm Thanks for the heads up. Definitely reading both.
January 23, 2012 11:03 pm Comixology posted it's digital comics list for this week. Secret Avengers is not on the list. Marvel why do you continue to disappoint? I guess I'll be taking my $2.99 elsewhere. Hopefully this is a mistake by Comixology because if not, Marvel seriously dropped the ball.
January 23, 2012 9:55 pm Great point. The plot in Fantastic Four is more epic and compelling than any line-wide event in recent memory. The Dark Angel Saga, Sinestro Corps, and Second Coming were also great events that took place in a smaller number of titles, specifically 1 for Dark Angel. When it comes to quality events, mini-events are where it is at.
January 23, 2012 8:48 pm I hope this arc and Samnee's arc is collected in a single HC or in the inevitable 4th Cap Omnibus. If not I'll be very disappointed.
January 23, 2012 8:41 pm I wish this series was $2.99 on a regular basis. Remender and Hardman are a fantastic creative team and deserve greater exposure. A lower price-point would encourage more readers to give this series a chance. I'm sure Marvel is pricing the .1 at $2.99 to encourage readers to take a shot on this series but those that know it will jump back up in price will stay away. if Remender and Hardman were not two of my favorite current creators, I'd stay away from this title because of the high price point.
January 23, 2012 8:37 pm Yeah, this issue and the first arc are not AvX related. The second arc, starting with issue #26, is a AvX tie-in.
January 23, 2012 8:34 pm Was loving Hickman's Fantastic Four run until the title became FF. The first few issues of FF didn't grab me and with the high price point of some other titles I dropped FF. After hearing the amazing buzz on Fantastic Four #600, I gave the relaunched Fantastic Four a shot. Issue #600 blew me away and #601 wasn't too shabby either, so I'm back on Fantastic Four and loving it.
January 23, 2012 8:24 pm This title needs Bagley or even Brooks. I don't mind the child-like feel of the art but the quality of the art is lacking.
January 23, 2012 8:18 pm If all Marvel titles were a dollar less then it would have sold better. For New titles and titles with lesser known characters to succeed, readers need flexibility in their budgets. This title's isolation from the rest of the Marvel U also hurt it. Isolation may make for a better story but it also encourages trade waiting.
