March 19, 2010 6:00 pm I've been thinking about gettin into this.  Knowing the last volume is about to come out as well as the movie, I think i'll give in and start catching up, hopefully in time for the last one.  Curious if it'll live up to the hype.

Does anybody know what the plans for Detective are after Rucka leaves?

All I can say is At least Robert Pattinson's not on that list.

February 25, 2010 1:07 pm nice choices Paul.  All a refreshing the departure from the pinups and boatloads of run of the mill covers that come out every week.  And that Muppet cover IS pretty pimp.  And a little unsettling.

Agreed. Nice spin on the stack week article.  I also have been spreading out my comics reading in small chunks of maybe two or three different books at a time and find I do enjoy and remember them better that way.  Also very intrigued by Age of Bronze, which I hadn't heard of till now.  And I will be ingoring the pics and docent guided tours of your glittering comic filled halls as I tend to be greed and impulsive man with too many options for easy purchasing.

I wanted to say this i while back, but didn't because of the relative unknown factor.  However, since that's the direction  they seem to be going, ima throw in Jensen Ackles from Supernatural.  He's got kind of the rough and tumble thing going on and might be able to pull off the Captain America authoritativeness (not a real word?) if pushed.  And am i the only one that audibly groaned and slumped my head down on the desk when I scrolled down to see Michael Cassidy?  Don't really know why.  Maybe it's cause he's just prettier than me.  Barely.

February 23, 2010 11:48 pm @conor-Actually, the only thing i pictured through that whole bit was the old
I Love Lucy bit with Harpo.  And the family guy "Hitler and Stewie Hitler" moment.

Mostly cash, but form the wife- The Death of Cap. America Omnibus, plus $100 to use on trades and and another $100 towards an iphone.  Shes AWESOME

November 11, 2009 3:32 pm Can't wait till my kids can read or watch these kinds of things.  all the new kid-oriented stuff coming out lately has got me pretty excited.  Just the other day my daughter batted away all the Hello Kitty and Dora the Explorer (Who she loves) Belly Washer juice things my wife was trying to hand her and hugged the Batman and Superman ones to her chest.    I teared up.
