Name: Eric Junkerman

Bio: I been collected comics since 1989. As a 6 year old my first issue was TMNT Adventures #11 with Raphael and the Rat King. I got into DC during KnightsEnd and tracked down KnightFall. Got into Marvel with Spider-Man during Maximum Carnage (loved the video game!) and strayed away during the clone saga, which I eventually grew to love. Lately, I've gotten more excited about Image and Vertigo with Walking Dead, Invincible, Saga, Saucer Country and Thief of Thieves. Still love all the companies, but focusing on great writers and great stories. Friend me on FACEBOOK. Eric https://www.facebook.com/ejunkerman

December 19, 2012 9:52 pm Wasn't going to pick this up because I didn't want to be spoiled before the movie, but there was one more copy in my LCS, so I picked it up for the hell of it. Best first issue of 2012! (Saga was mine originally) The page count and content fills this book. It took me about 30 minutes to read. R.M. Guera's art is phenomenal and he uses around 6-8 highly detailed panels per page. I was a little nervous about QuentinTarantino's screenplay being put in comic form, but now I wish they'd do GNs for all his films because of how well this translated. And they intentionally didn't use actor references when drawing the characters. This book stands on it own! 5 Stars, POTW.
October 11, 2012 1:58 am If this even comes close to Uncanny X-Force's first arc, I will be around as long as Remender is around. Cassaday's art was spot on and I loved that panel splash on 2 & 3, too! Sold me on the whole book. Pretty sure Cyclops is being set up to be the new Magneto as Alex is posed to be the one who lives out Xavier's dream.
