June 9, 2011 9:59 pm Ryan, regarding Aquaman: in the televised cartoon, his telepathic signals seemed to be focused through his forehead, bypassing the follicles.
June 9, 2011 9:39 pm @spaceghost15  , I've been disappointed with most of the Muppet material since Jim Henson died.  His sense of humor was so very special, unparalleled, and unmatched.  I want to be able to look forward to this movie, but Muppets from Space simply didn't have the magic for me.
June 9, 2011 9:31 pm @ASSTACKLER  This is an honest question regarding your Doom Patrol/Morrison statement.  Does this indicate that you are interested primarily in the Doom Patrol as a collection of characters, that you are interested primarily in reading material written by Morrison, or that you base your expectations on his previous work with the the Doom Patrol?
June 9, 2011 9:23 pm Has anyone ever seen a poll regarding readership of the top two?  More pointedly, has either DC or Marvel experienced a measurable and permanent exodus of readership to the other company's titles?  It has always seemed to me, based on my perusal of message boards, that a reader is loyal to either Marvel or DC regardless of what the company puts out.
June 9, 2011 7:28 pm Yeah, how ridiculous of DC to wipe out characters' pasts.  You'd never see Marvel erasing somebody's marriage, or bringing a dead character back to life, or having someone from the future try to change the timeline.....
June 9, 2011 7:16 pm @ctrosejr  It was sort of an isolation suit that he was wearing when he first emerged onto the surface of the earth.  It got shredded off as time went by.
June 9, 2011 6:46 pm I really liked the retracting wings of Hawkman on Smallville.  Made perfect sense, especially if he's going to be swinging around maces and such.
