March 8, 2016 6:37 pm Great episode of Star Wars Corner guys!
January 14, 2016 6:56 pm Best new comedy of 2015!
January 14, 2016 6:56 pm Now that I think of it Victor Garber (66) had a whole mini arc where he was getting sick due to his powers and they just thought he was having symptoms of aging.
January 14, 2016 6:54 pm @skulldave " But they also had cameos by Alfred (Michael Caine) and Morgan Freeman." What are you even talking about? Flash series regulars season 1 current ages: Grant Gustin (The Flash) - Age 25 Carlos Valdez (Cisco Ramon) - Age 26 Candice Patton (Iris Allen) - Age 27 Danielle Panabaker (Caitlin Snow) - Age 28 Rick Cosnett (Eddie Thawn) - Age 32 Jesse L. Martin (Joe West) - Age 46 Tom Cavanagh (Harrison Welles) - Age 52 Not to mention the guest appearances and reoccurring characters played by Clancy Brown, John Wesley Shipp, Victor Garber, Stephen Ammel, David Ramsey, Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Matt Letscher and 64 YEAR OLD MARK HAMILL. I'm doing the math here and the average age of actors on this show is closer to 40 than it is 20. If you are going to hate on something, I'd hope you at least have an argument that makes sense.
August 24, 2015 3:59 pm If you guys are genuinely taking requests/recomendations, I really love the IDW Ghostbusters books that Erik Burnham and Dan Schoening have done. The series is a continuation to the video game from a few years back which is the closest we will ever get to a Ghostbusters 3. I personally think Burnham nails the character's voices and every issue is LOADED with background jokes like a Zdarsky book. It deals with continued fallout from the movies/video game while still building on that world. The Hardcover collections are gorgeous, I heartily recommend you pick up the first one, Total Containment. Upfront I will say Ignore all those zombies/GIJoe/Transformers crossovers and just stick with the main books. Happy reading! PS don't ask Paul about this book because if memory serves he hates all Ghostbusters.
July 15, 2015 12:49 am I just think Superman: The Movie , just like Batman the tv series, were great for their time, but it is OK to be OK with something different to slide across our desks (both in print and film). I also think that the Superman in that article, the one Morrison described, is the Superman we have at the end of Man of Steel. It is a movie about Superman becoming Superman. if he was Superman from minute 1, that's not much of a story is it? But at the end of the day I am a massive hypocrite, I chastise my roommate daily for supporting Gotham and their Joke origin BS.
July 14, 2015 6:53 pm I feel like everyone's mythical ideal Superman movie is a 2 hour version of the USO show from Captain America: The First Avenger. I love the direction DC/WB is taking the franchise.
July 14, 2015 6:51 pm I personally liked Lando. I don't have any expanded U baggage, so maybe that helps.
July 6, 2015 4:59 pm How is it the guy who left the comic industry is the LEAST cynical of the group? Also that Heroic Age :Superheros bit is pure gold. Glad someone dug up the episode, gonna have to re-listen. I remember buying it the following week just to better enjoy the podcast jokes.
April 7, 2015 9:33 pm I believe in the aftermath of Steve Roger's "Death" they offered the shield to Clint when he was in the Ronan persona. He turned it down. I specifically remember Tony or Fury saying something like "a dozen SHIELD officers tried to throw that thing and half of them ended up in the medical ward." After Clint had a perfect thrown and return.
