Name: David Dusbiber

Bio: My wife and I are both huge comic and video game fans. I love a wide range of comics with a focus on the big two in the past. Recently though, I've been dropping lots of Marvel and Dc comics while adding a lot of independent. I don't care what company writes something as long as it's a good comic. And lately I've been learning not to just keep collecting a comic out of habit. My favorite character is Batman although he's been handled badly as of late.

June 28, 2011 2:39 am HEY MARVEL!!!!! make this an ongoing, it is awesome!
June 20, 2011 11:09 pm 12 books for me. I am mega excited by mystery men.  #1 took me by surprise considering I just picked it up on a whim and the awesomeness of it kicked the crap out of me.  Only 5 issues?  give us an ongoing!

I'm also excited for gates of gotham and brightest day aftermath:  the search for Spock... i mean Swamp Thing

bq:  easy question, I'd send a construct to go do my job for me ; )
May 16, 2011 2:34 am Picked this up by reccomendation of my lcs, surprized me how much I liked it.  think I'll continue reading, This is just a mini-series right?
May 16, 2011 1:30 am Accually, Templesmith only does the cover of this, not the interior art
April 12, 2011 4:10 am oh and BQ:  either waking up covered in spiders and finding the whole world covered in spiders or waking up to a word in which we can't afford to see our own doctor when we want because our insurances high deductibles and copays are raping our bank accounts...  oh wait that second one may not be fictional
April 12, 2011 4:03 am Definitely 10 maybe 12 if I pull the trigger with Hulk and Thor.  Can't decide.  With hulk though it seems the other, red hulk, comic is the one that gets the acclaim.  I just miss the days when there was just one hulk.  "Hey I have a connection to Banner, so I get to hulk out."   that connection is as silly as the fact that there are so many speedsters that are related to each other.  But I digress.  I am looking forward to reading Flash to get a better idea as to whether flashpoint will be a train wreck or better than people are predicting.  Also excited about Xmen Legacy.  Age of X has been pretty cool and it's nice it's so self contained.
January 22, 2010 4:00 am I don't feel every story or title has to be intrinsically tied to the center of the marvel universe and it's current crossovers de jur.  This was a quality horror story and I feel Wolverine fits right into horror as well as he does superhero stories.  Taking the story as it's own entity, this is easily a 5 out of 5.  And I for one look forward to future apearences of the good doctor.  Maybe he can screw with someone else like Peter Parker for example.

My comic shop clerk said this was going to be a small week, oh well there goes that idea.  17 books for me.  Maybe i need to become more picky.  Anyway, my most anticipated books this week are:  Batman and Robin-  loving the new direction of the batman universe lately: Reborn- return of steve rogers?  at least we're assuming that.  Does anyone know if they've said in black and white he is definitely returning to stay or could there be a curve ball coming to the plate?; GL Corps-  this has been go-to reading for a while now;  Jonah Hex,  this six gun war will be awesome;  JLA- see if this new group can breath life into a nearly dead title;  and finally Witchblade- war of the witchblades definitely works for me.  Hard to say what will come out on top for me, quite an exciting week

BQ:  working till the sun goes down then speeding home to set off fireworks.

there seems to be an incredibly obscure comic coming out this week called Batman and Robin.  I know no one else cares but I think i'll check it outl

BATMAN AND ROBIN BATMAN AND ROBIN BATMAN AND ROBIN BATMAN AND ROBIN BATMAN AND ROBIN  ETC ETC.

ARE THERE ANY OTHER COMICS COMING OUT THIS WEEK, NOT SURE.  I'M GETTING A FEW OF THOSE OTHERS TOO.

BQ:  you'd all destroy each other and as usual only the cockroach survives
