October 13, 2011 4:43 pm Well, it's still cheaper than the $2.39 + shipping I pay now. Then there's the whole instant gratification thing. I'm big on gratification.
October 13, 2011 9:58 am I see $1.99 too. Pretty much seals the deal for me.
October 10, 2011 3:17 pm Big week for me - seven books (eight if you count Warehouse 13 #2 for my kid). I always look forward to Northlanders and The Unwritten, but Demon Knights #2 looks really fun too. BQ: NYC is a long way away from Indiana. Catch you guys at C2E2?
October 3, 2011 2:15 pm Animal Man #2, Swamp Thing #2, Severed #3, Sweet Tooth #26, iZombie #18...lots to be excited about. BQ; I like pecan pie and maps.
September 30, 2011 10:18 am Can we rename the "Weekly Sketch Up" to "Phil Noto...and some other artists"?
September 28, 2011 3:54 pm I totally disagree. Ron, you are not fat!
September 26, 2011 5:48 pm Just American Vampire and Voodoo this week. BQ: Movie watching takes up too much valuable reading time!
September 19, 2011 2:30 pm It's an all DC week for me. Very excited for Batman #1. BQ: I did one heck of a Hell Yeah Peter Dinklage dance in my living room last night.
September 16, 2011 9:14 am The Unwritten cover is superb!
September 13, 2011 12:22 pm "only talking about them when I am talking back to the Pick of the Week podcast" Glad I'm not the only one. The closest shop to me is 40 minutes away. That's not a trip I can make every week, so I have an online subscription with a major comic book website that ships my books out once a month. I'm always so far behind the rest of the comics community that I really don't feel like a part of it at all. I question myself every Wednesday - why not just go digital? Save the shipping costs, talk about the titles along with everyone else! I don't have a good answer for why I haven't yet. I don't really care about the smell of ink or the feel of the paper in my hands. I've taken one step this week - changing my shipping time to weekly rather than monthly. But I still don't have Animal Man, and won't for several more days. It's inevitable, I think, that my iPad will soon become my delivery method of choice. Feels weird though.
