October 23, 2011 2:07 am I read the first issue and did not care for it so I dropped it with the plan of picking up the series again if I heard good things about it, but as is obvious at this point I have not really heard good things about it. Thanks Marvel for saving me money I guess and I didn't make the same mistake I did with Secret Invasion by buying every issue in the vain attempt it would pick up.
October 23, 2011 1:58 am I'm in the exact same boat, my Marvel pull list has dwindled down to just Daredevil after just a few months of the Heroic Age which started out great. Hopefully once this is all over with (eventually...maybe) I can go back to picking up Marvel titles because I fell in love with Avengers Academy and when it tied into Fear Itself I had no idea what was going on.
October 18, 2011 5:01 pm That is a cool club. I wish I had something like that in school but I was the only one there who read comics.
October 17, 2011 4:34 pm If Bendis and Fraction are on there then count me out I don't care what book it is.
October 15, 2011 8:49 pm I'm torn between my love for Bagely and my hatred for Bendis' Avengers
September 29, 2011 11:30 pm I did not find anything in this book that made it stand out from the other Batbooks. The Arkham breakout did nothing for me especially`when Snyder and Capullo did the same sequence a bazillion times better last week. It's like I've been saying for a while they need to end this series, before the reboot only 3 or 4 issues saw the light of day, a trend i think it will continues, and it does not add anything important to the Batman mythos.
September 26, 2011 5:14 pm This article pretty much sums up why I'll keep picking up Wonder Woman and Supergirl and try pit Birds of Prey while I'm dropping Red Hood and the Outlaws and Catwoman. I have no problem with female comic characters being given a sexual side (ie Wonder Woman) as long as it is realistic and strengthens their character and not just there for exploitative reasons.
September 26, 2011 5:09 pm The last arc was so good I don't see how they can follow it up. But it's Snyder of course it will blow me away
September 25, 2011 3:09 am I am familiar with the main Legion characters and the basic premise so I was hoping with this issue I could jump in and become a fan of their comics and really get into it. But I guess the memo didn't get around to the Legion office about the point of all this was to be accessible to new readers, because I had no idea what was going on. It began in the middle of a mission to do something the characters were introduced in a hurry so I was not able to gain any familiarity with them. I really hope one day that I can find a LoSH issue that I can jump in to and it be my access point into their adventures, but that isn't this issue.
September 24, 2011 11:53 pm And I was hoping this week would be my chance to hop into Legion a team I haven't read about since I was a kid, and apparently they did not get the memo about it being a relaunch to lure in new readers because it felt like the middle of an ongoing story and I had no idea what was going on.
