November 10, 2010 2:03 pm This is good stuff.  I'm not a normal Thor reader, but I did read The Ultimates 1 and 2.  I liked the take on him there, and the origin stuff in Ultimate Thor is very interesting to me.  Just an overall great comic.

Finally!  Astonishing #31 was the first actual comic book that I bought in issue form.  I loved it and the subsequent issues.  Jiminez's art is awesome.  The plot hasn't been too deep, but the action was great.  The training and teamwork of the X-men is showcased extremely well.  The scene with Beast fighting the Sentinel with the Blackbird's harpoon... awesome!  Very enjoyable overall... then the 6 month wait.  But it's finally here.

Kaare's art on exogenesis is different.  Aside from Emma, I like it alright.  But Emma is drawn so funky... like the guy said, it's like she's miss piggy.   Storm looks amazing though.

June 9, 2010 8:58 am I didn't realize that Astonishing X-men #34 had been delayed so long.  Do you think it will come out this month, or keep getting delayed indefinitely?  I'm new at buying issues of comics :P
June 8, 2010 3:50 pm #34 should be coming out this month, I think.  http://marvel.com/catalog/?id=13929
June 7, 2010 11:09 pm @ButchCassidy, you're dead on about the art for the Ghost Box run, but Phil Jimenez has been killing it on the current arc.  It's really good.
June 3, 2010 11:15 am If you can be part of the GL corps (maybe Sinestro corps?), then I"m in!
May 21, 2010 12:09 am the trailer made it look like a card-based, pokemon/magic the gathering'ish game.  I hope it's not that...
May 19, 2010 12:14 am I say zombie Steve Irwin wins.

I'm not sure what to make of this.  The art is okay except for Emma.  Her head is drawn like it's a freaking cube, and it was driving me nuts.  Aside from that, I thought it was average.  I definitely want to see where the story goes before writing it off.

What I really want is Astonishing X-men #34.  I've loved the current run with Jimenez.  The action, pacing, and above all else the art have been out of this world.
