August 20, 2013 5:48 pm & by "him" I mean Booster . . .
August 20, 2013 5:47 pm A new Booster Gold title by Lemire would be interesting. I definitely hope that DC gives him another chance with a series . . .
August 20, 2013 3:13 pm Thanks for the spotlight on Schiti's work. I hadn't heard of him before Journey into Mystery, but have been loving his work on the title. Hope he's got some more stuff lined up soon. Any particular pre-Mystery work of his you would recommend checking out?
August 19, 2013 9:59 pm Average week for me: X-O Manowar, Bloodshot (for Kindt), Daredevil, Animal Man, Batwoman & Wonder Woman. Might motivate myself to buy Justice League Dark, might simply flip through it in the store. BQ:Transformers and G.I. Joe were my favorites, plus Batman once it started.
August 19, 2013 9:48 pm I've been reading Justice League Dark since the start, and it's been really up and down. The best arc I thought was Lemire's first, but it hasn't been as good since Fawkes joined the team. Personally, I think that Dematis has improved Phantom Stranger, so I would give him a try here, but, that price change without pages increase mean I'll be dropping this after Trinity War. Jeff Lemire doing Adam Strange would be pretty cool . . .
August 19, 2013 9:40 pm Was the Loki series any good? As a fan of both Loki and Ribic I've often looked at it on the shelves but never bought it . . .
August 16, 2013 11:54 am Also, that Breath of Bones looks interesting -- has it been any good?
August 16, 2013 10:10 am That Lost Vegas cover is lovely -- I look forward to reading the series in trade someday . . . .
August 15, 2013 10:00 pm Well, that wasn't quite the dynamite send off I was hoping for, but, over all it was good. The art was probably the weakest spot in my mind . . .
August 14, 2013 11:08 pm I've been curious to check out FF, but it simply hasn't been in the budget. It will be interesting to see who takes over after Fraction/Allred -- it's hard to imagine the title continuing without an A-List creative team . . .
