August 29, 2013 5:37 pm If Journey Into Mystery, Dial H & Demon Knights hadn't been canceled, my list would have been even more difficult to narrow down . . .
August 29, 2013 5:33 pm X-O Manowar and Archer & Armstrong are my favorites of the Valiant titles . . .
August 29, 2013 3:32 pm The current arc of Animal Man has been great and the annual was outstanding, yet, five is a small number, and the others on my list impress me even more on a month to month basis . . .
August 29, 2013 3:30 pm If this had been a top ten, I would have included Nowhere Men, but, it couldn't quite make the cut for a top five.
August 29, 2013 3:23 pm Well, there goes my "Jarvis will mutate into Ultron and thus give Paul Bettany something more meaty to do" theory . . . That said, Spader is a great choice for the role.
August 29, 2013 11:21 am In no order: Mind MGMT Unwritten Saga Young Avengers Archer & Armstrong It was close between Archer & Armstrong and Batman, but the Valiant book edged out Snyder's. I'm still enjoying Batman, but not at the same excitement level as before. Also the current arc of Archer & Armstrong has been fabulous. Disappointed that there have been no votes so far for Mind MGMT, one of the most creative series I've read in a long time -- it definitely deserves a larger audience.
August 29, 2013 11:14 am Agreed, Valiant is putting out some terrific books -- can't wait for Unity.
August 28, 2013 8:49 pm It's been a month of cancellations for me: Dial H, Demon Knights, now Journey into Mystery. I'll miss 'em all. This was a great issue, glad to see it go out on a high note. Let's hope we see more from K. Immonen & Schiti soon . . .
August 28, 2013 12:54 pm That Extreme Justice image looks awful and oh, so, so 90s . . . My first League and still my favorite was the Giffen/DeMatties years. The annual with Justice League Antarctica is one of the funniest things I've ever read . . . As always, thanks for the great article . . .
August 27, 2013 11:59 am Cosmo demands a recount, truly, Cosmo does . . . though he is happy to see his canine comrades Lockjaw, Krypto & Snoopy on your list . . .
