December 22, 2012 2:01 pm Nice article Connor and I think your right. However, I agree with sentiment I am seeing above. The shock value overshadows everything else. It might even be fun or funny at first, but it gets old fast. Ennis has such cool ideas for comics (preacher was a really interesting idea) and such great characterization. This makes it all the more disappointing when he resorts to gross adolescent shock value. As JohnnyDestructo said above, he doesn't need this to make a great comic.
December 22, 2012 1:53 pm This is a great issue. If you are a fan of Doctor Who and Star Trek the Next Generation this series is a must read.
November 26, 2012 2:17 pm Enjoyed: Uncanny Avengers All New X-men Thor: God of Thunder Indestructible Hulk Avengers Assemble. Enjoyed #1 but will see for how long: Deadpool Fantastic Four Captain America Not so much: Iron Man X-men Legacy A+X Overall, I think this is a promising start.
November 21, 2012 4:01 pm yeah, this book is just a lot of fun.
November 21, 2012 3:59 pm The first issue was fun. The second issue is even funnier. "At least buy me dinner first..." LOL!
November 19, 2012 7:49 pm Although this is a "re-introduction of Judge Dredd to America," I hope they don't americanize it too much. The charm of it is that British comics are different in tone and style than American comics. Hope this is good.
November 19, 2012 7:46 pm The story line is pretty good from issue #1. Really dislike how Land draws Tony Stark. Big stupid grin, makes him look like a total asshole. Gillen is going really have to keep me excited story-wise to keep buying this book.
November 19, 2012 7:43 pm Hoping this Hulk will be like the Mark Rufallo version. I agree with thompsonlive. If you make hulk level-headed, the what use is there for Banner?
November 19, 2012 7:41 pm That is the question...
November 19, 2012 7:36 pm Stupid. Perpetuates the myth that genetic cloning makes identical copies of a person. Love for a specific set of people comes from experience not genes.
