October 18, 2012 10:46 pm I'm basically still getting this book for the Shazam backup. Two consecutive regular issues (i.e. not #0s) without Shazam backups leave me wondering if it's worth it after all.
October 17, 2012 4:47 pm I feel as though this series is starting to hit its stride. Really enjoyed this issue.
October 15, 2012 8:32 pm I'll join the legions of mourners for Frankenstein. I love that book, and I'm devastated that it's being pulled. On the other hand, though...maybe I'll have enough money to check out Jason Aaron's Thor or Mark Waid's Hulk now.
September 29, 2012 10:10 pm My local comic shop owner suggested this to me as a palate-cleanser after I gagged down Teen Titans #0. I expected to hate it, but was surprised to find that I actually enjoyed it. I may even pick up a few more issues, just to see how it goes.
September 26, 2012 1:30 pm Loyalty to Tim kept me invested in this title, even through the travesty that was "The Culling." Since Tim Drake no longer appears in this title (at least, no Tim Drake I know), I can finally make my peace with dropping it for good.
September 24, 2012 11:10 pm Not much, unfortunately. I hadn't really heard of him until DC announced that he was taking over Frankenstein from Jeff Lemire, at which time I also learned that Kindt had sort of been involved with Frankenstein from the beginning. Since I LOVE Frankenstein, I knew that I wanted to try Mind MGMT. I have not been disappointed, and I look forward to reading some of his other stuff!
September 24, 2012 9:29 pm Rumor has it that TPTB actually changed the text in TT #1 for the trade collection. I *heard* that the text reads "Batman's boy wonder" instead of "Robin, the Boy Wonder." I don't know why it bothers me, but it does.
September 24, 2012 8:59 pm I love this book. It's my favorite read every week it comes out.
September 24, 2012 8:57 pm They should have changed the solicit text. Apparently, Tim was NEVER Robin.
September 20, 2012 12:41 pm It just doesn't seem that DC has any idea what to do with Jason's "resurrection." This would have been the perfect opportunity to show--not tell--us the who, what, when, where, and why of it according to the New 52, but I fear that Lobdell and Co. dropped that baton.
