September 2, 2013 12:36 pm I honestly can't tell you how long I've been visiting this site, but I know that for years now, this place has been like a second home to me; and though I've been a rather "silent" visitor over the years, I have thoroughly enjoyed the insightful articles, editorials, and the space you guys created in which comic fans could come and discuss this hobby we all love. This has been a place where I could air frustrations, share excitement about things to come, and find solace when something big was about to change. As a DC fan since 1989, your reviews, articles, and podcasts shepherded me through the turbulence of the New 52, and helped me adjust to the new status quo in my favorite comic book universe. So, thank you. Thank you for the years you have invested in this place. Thank you for caring as much as you do. And best wishes for whatever comes next. Hear you on Sunday!
March 4, 2013 10:02 pm Yeah, #17 left me underwhelmed, as well. Still, I think I'm gonna give it a couple more issues. It may yet win me over.
March 4, 2013 10:01 pm I love Scott Snyder, and I though the first arc of this book was amazing. Both the writing and the art were stellar. After that, though, the book waned a bit, and once Rotworld started, it just got tedious. As much as I love Snyder, reading the last several issues felt more like work than fun to me. Time for me to let go.
March 4, 2013 9:58 pm I've been with this book since the start of the New 52, but last issue was, well...my last. I MAY purchase this digitally when it's cheaper, just to wrap up the story. The truth is that Rotworld wore me out, and I never got over Travel Foreman's departure from the book. Budgets are tight, and the end of Rotworld seemed like a good place to jump off the book. Sorry, Jeff.
January 28, 2013 8:53 pm Joshua Hale Fialkov writing He-Man's origin? Yes, please.
January 28, 2013 8:52 pm I agree. But I went back and read the hardcover collection, and found that the story felt lest disparate and more intentionally and intricately woven together than when I read the issues separately. I have a feeling the post-New 52 version will be much the same.
January 28, 2013 8:49 pm I hope this book has a more direct connection with DOTF than did the last issue of Red Hood and the Outlaws. In general, I've liked Lobdell's take on Jason Todd, but last issue felt like a completely disjointed mess. Maybe that's because Jason Todd wasn't really in it.
December 17, 2012 8:21 pm Until Marvel NOW, I've been almost exclusively a DC guy. This book, along with Hulk and Cap, brought me into the fold. Well done, Marvel. Well done.
November 21, 2012 7:16 pm Finally, a Hulk book with which I can get on board.
November 20, 2012 5:48 am Justice League, Wonder Woman, Catwoman, Captain America, and Indestructible Hulk for me--but not until Saturday, because... ...BQ: I'm out of town spending Thanksgiving with my family, three hours away from my comic shop, but much closer to a plate piled high with turkey, stuffing, and various calorie-laden side dishes and desserts. However, since I'm close to A comic shop, I might bounce over and grab Iron Man #2, just so that Wednesday isn't a total comic bust.
