February 2, 2013 7:49 am I think the character is too mysterious and broad to have a defined series and background.I understand that its going to somehow tie-in to Trinity War but the series never grabbed me.Dan Didio ought to focus on running the company rather than writing.

January 29, 2013 8:08 pm I love Batman the Dark Knight but i treat i feel like it doesn't quite know its place among the New 52 bat books.It's not as dark as Snyder's Batman nor does it have the good dichotomy of Batman and Robin or the "street level" that Detective Comics seems to take.I suppose you could say that its Batman's horror title but with Death of the Family that's become Batman. Oh well.I like the book but if it gets cancelled i won't be too upset.

January 22, 2013 8:03 am There will always be people who sigh and complain about superheroes and their movies.They tend to be people who swear more by indie comics then by capes and tights. I suppose that's fine.Everyone's allowed to their own opinions and interests but you have to recognize that a fair amount of comic books are about superheroes.Go into your comic shop and look at the covers on the shelf.What do you see? If last summer taught us anything it's that superhero movies are not going away anytime soon.I also don't want printed comics to go away.Don't get me wrong, i love the Comixology app and all but there's something satisfying about buying in the store.Like hearing the Star Wars theme music it awakens something childlike within you that i don't get reading them on my iPad.I do have to give digital comics credit, they make storage a helluva lot easier then finding room in my house to hold my comics (I'm even thinking of buying a filing cabinet!)

Nope.Wanna watch The Dark Knight Rises? Nope.You can't even watch Batman Begins. That being said i might try and free demo of the DC version of it once it roles out.

January 17, 2013 6:39 am I liked a few of the earlier issues in the series but this just shows that the writer has no clue where he's going.Originally it was going to continue the battle between N.O.W.H.E.R.E and the former Ravagers but the series isn't going anywhere.We were promised Ian Churchill would be doing the art.How long did he last? Until issue 4? That being said.This seems like the most likely candidate for the next round of cancelations.So until then i'm keeping this on my pull-list and enjoying the random-ness of the series.Maybe it will get better.Maybe it won't.
