December 30, 2012 6:18 pm Did anyone take the recommendation to order NausicaƤ from Amazon, and then find something wrong with it? It is currently "under review" - mildly concerned as I ordered one just prior, but intl. shipping takes three weeks.
February 2, 2012 5:12 am I appreciate the approach Ron has taken for this review, but I feel it's an understatement to simply refer to Leon's work as "fill-in" (although I understand it from the industry side). It's kind of like saying Darwyn Cooke 'filled in' for JLA in its 'off' months by doing New Frontier. Leon is such a great artist and comic storyteller that any new work by him can be appreciated on its own merits. I think I'm probably being precious but Hey! Good art! Good series, good comic, wins all round.
June 3, 2011 12:21 am If one of these next 40 or so #1 issues does not include the J.H. Williams and co. Batwoman book I will weep.
February 17, 2011 7:42 pm John Layman is a definite possibility for one of these books:

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 12.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica} "I’ve got three projects on deck, all of which I accepted for different reasons. One for a big fanboy thrill, and I probably would have written it for free. Another is with an artist I consider a legend. And another is a really high profile gig with Marvel which I took… well, because Marvel has never handed me a high-profile thing that wasn’t me riding on the coattails of some other creator’s event."

-from a recent interview at The Beat. Does the success of Chew grant him 'superstar' status?
November 18, 2010 3:00 am Why has no-one commented on the link between the final splash page and Catwoman's first experience of 'Tentacle Porn'? It was weird and scary and meta and I am not sure how i feel about it, although I definitely enjoyed it as a GOOD comic book.
August 19, 2010 10:16 pm The best panel of this week was clearly THAT page of Ex Machina, but I appreciate the numerous trade/HC readers will not see it for a few months.
July 6, 2010 8:38 pm For those unsure: This is a fully-coloured, relettered 'reprint' of the first issue of Casanova (Image 2006) with a NEW back-up story drawn by Fabio Moon. It is c. 32 pages of story content. I cannot recommend it highly enough; for those who have never tried CASANOVA I urge you to at least try this first issue!
