Not to toot my own horn, but if anyone is interested I have a manuscript in press. It should be published in the upcoming months.  Hopefully, this can contribute (even if a little) to the de-stigmatization that comics are a junk medium.

Branscum, P., & Sharma, M. (in press). Comic books an untapped medium for health promotion. American Journal of Health Studies.

September 10, 2009 8:57 pm This is hands down my favorite comic series ever.  I'm a pretty frugal guy, so I pretty much would never own a comic in 2 different formats (single issue and hardcover)... except for this series.  See you all next year when volume 3 comes out.
August 29, 2009 10:38 am I thought the first Question trade mentioned above was really great.  The second was ok... He rocked a mullet for a few issues which was kinda hard to see... I'm about to read the third, and flipping through it there is a Green Arrow appearance, so that looks cool.
August 25, 2009 11:03 pm How about a Vicki Vale feature in the next one?
March 30, 2009 10:31 pm In the show they talked about how Justice League should be the flag ship book for DC, but shouldn't this book be of relevance as well?  I've only been reading for about 2-years but never felt compelled to even try this book.  I mean, I'd be willing to if I heard good things about it, but I never do.
March 5, 2009 5:19 pm This story really started off great!  I started reading superman since the brainiac thing started, but stopped after the new krypton thing ended (so I didn't pick up the last few).  But I am really interested with this story.  The thing I hope they explore is him having an all of a sudden sense of loneliness.  It's sort of like when I went to boot camp (Air Force) and you go all pumped up ready to get to business, and then all of a sudden you start to have second thoughts, and feelings of extreme loneliness and abandonment. I'm not sure if the story will go there, but I think it would be an interesting take.
February 23, 2009 6:17 pm I was really not impressed with this series AT ALL.  I know people complain when others come on and 'bad talk' books, but I now think Season 5 ended perfectly, and there was really no need for this.  If you are reading it and dig it, keep reading by all means, but to me, this was a MAJOR disappointed.
February 18, 2009 8:51 pm It seems like there is no buzz about this book whatsoever.  I didn't buy it because I felt kinda burned from Countdown (which I know some people don't accept as a good reason), but is this just super-mediocre or what?
February 7, 2009 12:28 pm Should the title be called "Buffy: The Leader all the of Vampire Slayers"?  I guess I really am tired of this current premise of having all these vampire slayers running around.
