December 20, 2017 12:37 pm Saw it twice. Was a little unsure the first time, loved it the second time. I really enjoyed the podcast, & even if I didn't agree with a lot, it's good to hear varying opinions & reasons behind them. Ron referred to Captain Phasma as being built up as the next Boba Fett-----and that's EXACTLY what she was = Visually appealing character with an air of mystery that doesn't get much screen time & then goes out like a punk. Look forward to hearing more takes & opinions on this movie & the Star Wars universe in general. It's a nice side distraction from all the other garbage going on right now. Thanks, guys. Keep up the great work.
April 15, 2014 2:18 am Did any of you read All-new Doop#1? I enjoyed the x-statix/x-force series of the past, so this was the only reason I picked it up. I don't even like Doop, thought the issue was bad to mediocre until the last page where Doop revealed(spoiler) that he could now speak human/english to Kitty Pryde. Now I'm thinking about picking up issue#2. I feel like I should seek help. Has anything like this ever happened to you? Also, I'm thinking Batman Eternal gets better with the next issue.
March 24, 2014 11:16 pm What did you guys think of Winter Soldier: The Bitter March #2 if you read it? I quite enjoyed it. Love the artwork & throwback feel s.h.i.e.l.d. spy stuff. I'm sure it might be seen as just a promotional tool for the upcoming cap movie, but I think it's a pretty true little slice to the Brubaker storylines. Not a huge fan of the Bucky flashback where he remembers Cap telling him never to shoot an enemy in the back. I get what they're doing - again maybe to push the movie, but at this point in the soldier's "career" I wanna see him still more of a brainwashed slate & ruthless.
January 10, 2013 4:16 pm I love BTAS, but personally I'm gonna go with Jim Lee. I came back into comics during the "Hush" storyline, and was really drawn in by Lee's art on the arc. Whenever I picture Batman from a comic standpoint now, his rendition is the one that comes to mind. Haven't seen Batman/B. Wayne presented better visually since.
September 9, 2011 12:36 pm Feel fortunate not to have to deal with any of these retailer "horror" stories. Powerhouse Comics in Appleton, WI does a great job of getting comics for their customers Countless times they have gone above and beyond to get me a single issue.. $6 Batgirl!
September 7, 2011 1:45 am Just saw above question on this title. Disregard. Sorry.
September 6, 2011 6:27 pm Any direction to push Nightwing in terms of being positive or negative?
April 27, 2011 10:20 pm I will keep the Spectacular Spider Man train rolling.  Great show.  Like(d) it better than the Avengers so far.

Don't get too far ahead of yourselves Marvelites.  Yeah, its a good show and a nice progression from Marvel's other offerings, but there is a long way to go before Marvel is even coming close to DC in the animated format.
