October 11, 2012 1:22 pm Some of my fav's are T-shirt Superboy and Riddler. Riddler you can do just about anything with. I like the traditional dark suit and shirt with purple tie, green bowler hat and cane. Or hipster it up a bit. Green bowler, a crutch, green converses, dark jeans, open shirt and T-shirt underneath with a '?' scribbled on it (white shirt with green T, or green shirt with purple T). If you have facial hair trim go clean for suave Nygma or go with sideburns and soul patch for slightly loopy hispter Riddler. And carry a Rubix cube with all green sides. Maybe one has a bat logo scribbled on it. Maybe one with a giant ? and one side with each square featuring a little ?. Something I did was to draw tattoos on my arms. So I did a collection of ?'s going in a circle so that they all shared the same dot. I also wrote 'Riddle me this' and 'Who is the Batman?'. People liked it, it wasn't traditionally canon but was fun and with a character Riddler it doesn't matter too much. Someone else went as Harley from the girls side of things. Its really easy. Face paint, hair in pig tails, mix and match some red and black clothes, get a rubber gun from a store or online and paint one half black and the other red. Maybe knee high converses (one black on red) and same with gloves if you fancy (though not so much on the knee high). Or Batman Begins Scarecrow.

October 3, 2012 5:29 pm Two comics I remember reading after borrowing from a friend. They were both X-men (or one was possibly just Wolverine). In England they sort of reprint a bunch of issues into a sort of giant sized format and they don't necessarily match up. What I do remember was one featured Warren when he could switch between blue skin and metal wings and a human with concealed wings. I think him and Wolverine and possibly Kurt were undercover in a bar or club or something and then it all went ape and fighting ensued. I like this as it featured the X-men and the show had taught me that I liked them. The other one I read I always wish I could find more about. Please, please help me if you know what I'm talking about here. It was Wolverine. He was heading back into the Canadian wilderness to find himself. This involved a night of meditation in which a wolf walked by but knew better than to mess with him which I recall as being bad ass. It also involved construction workers possibly building an oil rig or a factory in a former place of solitude for him. He hangs the guy upside down and blows smoke in his face with a fat cigar before cover the guys face with his own hard hat. Later on he meets up with some Native Americans (I'm pretty sure he was doing a girl from the tribe...it is Logan) and they showed him the maggot infested carcass of a demon possessed horse. This looked awesome. What was more awesome was the next issue promised a maggoty demonic bear. BUT and I know this for sure, it was not the Demon Bear of New Mutant fame....I think :-s. Anyone tell me which issues there are please. There will be cookies*
September 25, 2012 5:17 am Just read the series and not to dig up a very old thread but reading this I realised that for me the team would look more like David Morrisey as Snow Monica Raymond seems solid for Jakita And Dominic Monaghan as the Drummer with Mark Valley popping up as Axel Brass
September 24, 2012 1:32 pm wait, he wears a jacket? I mean, all the time? Is this jacket important? I mean I guess if you're calling it HIS jacket it is probably some kind of signature jacket. Man, I would really love to know where you get a jacket like that from. I'd love to see a film that was kinda like, y'know, the origin of where that jacket came from.
September 11, 2012 3:13 pm The poetry in The Prince of the Sea is just beautiful but truly haunting which coupled with illustrations that evoke an illustrated children's book make for a truly haunting experience. Having only just read those four pages I am convinced I will love that book. Not sure the art overall as a style is quite my thing however in that context, to add an eerie layer to a quasi children's story which I suspect has darker tones, its just fantastic.
September 10, 2012 11:05 am To be honest it could be quite powerful if a teenage Flash dropped out of highschool to join up...flashforward to his legs getting blown off. The real loss of innocence and wasted potential would add another layer to that idea. He never got a chance to be the man he wanted. Now he has that chance and doesn't want to waste it which could be another reason he pushes himself so close to the edge... Though I'd prefer it as a show
August 3, 2012 1:51 am Thanks for answering my email guys it waa really useful advice. Ive found the answer to many of the queries when it comes to writing and art is to just keep going and not stop. Coupled with studying good examples by good artiats/writers it seems you quickly fund that progression and voice. Thanks for the encouragment to not worry but to keep on going
