August 4, 2012 4:06 pm Is it just me or is it everytime I see Aja'a art, I think of David Mazzuchelli and how much I miss him.
July 7, 2012 2:37 pm Agree on the JR SR comparison and I also agree with the comment about the empty place mat. It's just a very Norman Rockwell vibe to it. And no other words than the title to clutter the art.
June 9, 2012 2:49 pm For me, George Perez is still that JIm Lee-star. I'll follow Perez to ANY book. Can't say the same about Lee. I know Art Adams had that potential years ago, but never pushed thru. As for the Nickelback of artists, someone who has a following, has a name but people see him or her as a poser? Hard question. Is it the same as not liking an artist? If that was the case, the first name I could think of is Al Milgrom. But that's old school. Would have to get back to you on that. Maybe John Romita Jr.?
June 9, 2012 2:41 pm Another awesome ep! I was worried that Artemis might actually be dead, but when they introduce the scene at the beginning, I thought I was safe especially with as much time was left in the episode. The thing I wasn't suspecting was the Aqualad reveal. Good show to even keep Batman and Aquaman in the dark, but how did Nightwing not tell Zatanna? This sets up so much more, like Red Arrow and Cheshire coming in and taking a more active role. The Superboy-Ms. Martian heart to heart was long overdue. Was Artemis and Kid Flash being "retired" part of Nightwing's plans all along? Lagoon and Superboy was good too. I'm beginning to think this series is better than JL. A question. Can anyone tell me who Miles Caufield is? I'm drawing a blank on him every week. Is it Icon? And the scariest thing? I didn't hear "...a brand new episode of Young Justice next week...". Is the season over or just a break? That was the worst news of all!
June 2, 2012 2:30 pm I saw that Peter David wrote the episode and almost wet myself, but was cursing him out till the last few moments when Jay Garrick finally popped up. I would have been majorly bummed if that didn't happen. Also nice to see Barry since I think this is the first time since the "five year jump". Just wanted to see a little more of Red Arrow to see how that breaks down, but I guess we'll have to stay tuned. The corner of Fox & Gardner was awesome, but the intersection of Baron & Waid would have been pimp. Time travel hurts my head as well as "Impulse-speak". I still think NIghtwing runs not only the sidekicks, but the entire JL.
May 19, 2012 3:45 pm This is not just one of my favorite cartoons, but one of my favorite SHOWS on television. Period. I would have rather seen a whole "intervention" epsisode with Red Arrow than the Superboy thing. I hate him being down in the dumps with Miss Martian all the time. The best thing about him is Wolf is always at his side. Otherwise, liked that everyone is almost accounted for(has anyone seen Flash since they jumped five years?). And is it just me or does it seem like Nightwing is running the whole Justice League, not just the "sidekick squad"?
April 28, 2012 3:49 pm Didn't see the "jump" coming at all. I wonder if they'll fill in the blanks, go back, or is this permanent? Not a big Blue Beetle or Lagoon Boy fan, but nice to see Beast Boy. Still love this show.
April 28, 2012 3:44 pm Started reading this book cause I'm a Moon Knight fan, but was really digging the Steve Rogers take. Now, since Remender took over, not finding much worthwhile with it and dropping it soon.
