November 30, 2012 3:21 am I'm amused you mention continuity keeping you away when this is probably the most continuity heavy book in the whole Marvel line for a new reader. You 'need' some understanding of what the characters were like, what they're like today, how their powers have changed, who's died, who had and hasn't dated, what events have influenced their personalities to change etc for the last 20 years. That's not to say a new reader shouldn't read this. More like you should just read what's good and not stress too much if you don't get everything. Anyway I wasn't trying to be critical just found it amusing, great review and I agree great book.
