One thing to note, I think the reason why the battles felt short changed is because marvel is spinning those specific battles off and showing them in more detail in AvX versus. this is marvels summary of the book A tie-in to the superhero mash-up Avengers vs. X-Men, this Versus release is a six issue mini-series with a rotating cast of creative teams. Marvel has labeled this book set the "fight book," a wall-to-wall combat run that eschews the epic storyline of the primary AvX in favor of pure, raw combat. the first one comes out next week 4/25
