March 28, 2013 1:02 pm Good review. I've really been enjoying this book since the shaky first issue. Each issue has added an element that adds to the plot and takes the book in a different direction than where I initially thought it was headed. That cliff hanger, while you know it had to happen eventually, was great. I'm glad some one else is enjoying it though I thought I was the only one!
March 28, 2013 12:54 pm Man this issue was fantastic. Great review!
March 28, 2013 12:50 pm I actually thought the book was great. Art was great story was fine. I liked DNA's run on the book as well but after a while I felt the book got a little stale. I would like to see the interview where James Gunn said that about Bendis though. Can you direct me to the website or link?
March 11, 2013 11:56 am I tend to agree with you guys. Death of the Family was a huge let down with a huge cop-out ending. I love Capullo and I loved the Court of Owls story but after the let down of Death I'm on the fence with this book. I'll give this story line a few issues but do we really need to see the origin again, for 11 issues? Wasn't Year One four issues? I'm a bit confused though does this take place before year one?
January 18, 2013 1:49 pm I disagree with the first line of your review. If Marvel followed DC's lead they would have paired this title with a subpar writer from the 90's and a constant rotation of subpar artists. This book is incredible though. Another great Marvel Now book.
December 11, 2012 11:43 am Hey I agree with you. I have grown a bit tired of Land's faces, but I find Gillen's writing to be the draw here for me. This book has been really good so far(all 2 issues of it) and has not gotten any buzz because of the art, which is a shame.
December 10, 2012 11:51 pm Another DC book dropped. I think I was reading more DC before the new 52, what a letdown. DC continues to disappoint.
December 5, 2012 4:55 pm Crappy coloring? I thought the coloring was fantastic and Dean White is of course known for his crappy coloring.
July 14, 2012 2:12 pm Hmmm not a fan, too much gold. Maybe it will look better when we see it in action?
