Dinosaurs Vs Aliens is a great start to what looks to be a pretty cool story. The art is fantastic…

December 2, 2011 6:09 pm I wasn't trying to bash overweight people by any stretch. I was trying to say that when people walk into a comic shop they immediately look for Comic Book Guy from The Simpsons. I apologize if I offended anyone, it was definitely not my intent.
December 2, 2011 5:27 pm "I’m saying you need perspective on how important this stuff really is, and how you want to present yourself to the world." I think this is an extremely important point. I also think it's surprising how often it is forgotten. As comic book fans, the general population has a pretty solid idea of who we are, and what we look like. I manage a comic book shop and a couple times a week there are some guys who come in and play Heroclix. There is one guy who is overweight, bearded, and exceptionally sloppy. Any time he is here, customers will go straight to him to ask questions. Even when I am standing behind the counter, greeting them as they come in. I'm not saying that I’m a handsome guy or a snappy dresser, but my shirts usually have collars and I shower daily and apparently I am not who people are expecting to see running a comic shop. It’s a stigma that is hard to break. As prevalent as geeks and nerds are in popular culture, acting creepy and dressing like a crazy person isn’t doing anyone, especially you, any favors.
November 26, 2011 11:44 am ah crap, Hulk Hogan formal is what I meant.
November 26, 2011 11:43 am I love that gambit is wearing a do-rag with a suit and tie. I guess he was going for Hulk Hogan professional.
November 16, 2011 2:06 pm Does Camuncoli have a site or an art dealer that sells pages?
October 22, 2011 3:20 pm Good luck in school Tom! I'll miss the column and I hope we'll still be getting some Tom vs. Aquaman!
June 8, 2011 8:46 am As bad as the first one was, the directors cut was an actual movie.
    January 18, 2011 2:51 pm @NathanNicdao  lol, zing!
January 15, 2011 9:40 pm Just saw it and i had a lot of fun. I had pretty low expectations and no knowledge of the source material. It passes the dad-test, he thought it was awesome! Mom and the missus also both enjoyed it.
It's probably not going to blow your socks off but it's definitely a great time!
January 14, 2011 3:53 pm I'm hoping to go see it this weekend. My girlfriend is probably more excited than I am. I doubt we'll opt for the 3D version but I'm curious to see what people think of it.
