Name: Matt Heckler

Bio: I am a musician, writer, and political activist from the Chicago suburbs. I've been reading comic books since the week Knights of the Republic #1 was published, so since January 2006. Having recently thought about who my top five characters, it shows a pretty good indication of what I'm into as far as comics. The five: Green Arrow, The Question (Vic), Manhunter (Kate Spencer), V (of V for Vendetta), and Beast (X-Men). Its indicative of my comic reading habits: A bit of indie, a smidge of Marvel, but I am definitely a DC guy.

April 28, 2010 7:34 pm I don't feel the need to review this because you say eveything I feel like I would have. This wasn't awful, but yeah... the only reason I'm sticking with it is because I'm a Green Arrow completist, and this pretty much counts for that. I am nervous about Krul's upcoming GA series, to be honest. I actually miss Judd Winick.
April 28, 2010 7:32 pm This issue was a bit stale for me, yawn. The story isn't grabbing me like it did at the beginning. Might be dropped, but I'm giving it one more issue.
April 28, 2010 7:29 pm @thunderbird32 I can see why this would seem fresh if you haven't read The Question before, but it just seems like every other The Spirit story to me. Octopus wants The Spirit dead, noir cliches abound, tries to kill Spirit, probably fails, next arc, more of the same. Yawn. I liked the art but it didn't excel, there were moments of greatness but other times I thought some of the people looked awkard.
April 28, 2010 7:25 pm I found the story really compelling and really enjoyed the art. I can agree with it was a weaker installment in The Question story, but I'm sticking with this.
April 27, 2010 12:00 am Whyyyy!?!! It was so good with Batwoman as the lead! Oh well, I'll still pick it up for The Question.
April 26, 2010 11:58 pm Being a Green Arrow nerd I eat this shit up. I loved "Cry for Justice," but I still don't see what the big deal is about Ollie killing Promethius... He has killed before.
April 26, 2010 11:57 pm Even as someone who is only a very casual Transformers fan, I really enjoy this book so far. The art is outstanding and the story is really fun.
