I buy about 70 issues a month through DCBS and never buy trades. For ongoing and mini-series outside of continuity, I hold off on reading the single issues until I they've all come out. (I had to hold on to Ultimate Wolverine vs Hulk for 2 years, but totally worth it to read it all together.) This way I support the industry by buying the singles, can maintain my sadly enormous collection, but don't feel burned on delayed books.
July 24, 2009 6:10 pm The Gog storyline was great, but nothing kills a book for me like Jerry Ordway. I think I'll drop it and save myself from having to buy two books.
This is very sad to hear. It's been amazing how Michael's been able to keep producing so many awesome covers over the last 5 years plus. Whenever someone passes, people are quick to say how much of a fighter they were and how upbeat they remained. But listening to the interviews he's done and seeing the work he's continued to put out, you can see what an awesome spirit he was. He will be missed.

Am I the only one who does this?
