New Comics for 04/14/10 are just trying to make it to May

Smallville – S09E16 – Checkmate

John Jones was great in this episode. I really wish they'd make him a regular next season.

It seems like they're doing the same thing with Zod this season as they did with Doomsday last, taking it easy for a few episodes and then ramping it up for the final 4-5.

Looking forward the most to Batman Streets of Gotham, an under the radar book that has been pretty solid the last few issues.

BQ: It's been sunny and warm for about 10 straight days now. Easy to get used to but with the two weeks prior being all rain all the time, I won't take it for granted.

Smallville – S09E10 – Disciple

I really hope if there is a season 10 that Mia is made into a regular. I had Robin vibes when she was talking to Oliver at the end.

Zod felt more creepy than menacing in this episode, but outside that, I thought it was a much better GA-centric episode than Roulette was.
