Name: Jan Mangubat

Bio: My name is Xeno. In the real world, I go by the name Jan. I'm a law student, a Filipino and comic book fan and collector. I loved reading comics and started at the young age of 4. I only got comic books as gifts though and I had no money to buy it for myself back then, so I just got to read them occasionally. My passion for this very special art form didn't waiver though as I bought comics here and there during high school and intermittently during college. But after I graduated from college in 2009, I began collecting comic books full time. I was looking for back issues of Batman: Knightfall, and happened upon Batman: Battle for the Cowl, found it interesting, and gave it a try. I got hooked since then. I also love to draw (I would like to believe that I have above average skills) ever since I was young which probably contributed to my love for comics. I'm also interested in TV shows and movies. Philippines represent! I don't want TPBs and HCs, except its a creator owned comic book that's hard to find like the past Vertigo titles, like Y: the last man. If a non Marvel or DC comics is really good, I'd buy it, but only in HC, like The Walking Dead.
