Name: Tim Titus

Bio: Archenemy of Conor Kilpatrick. I read a few comics during high school and college, mostly arty stuff about depression and masturbation like Ghost World, Peep Show, Love and Rockets, and the works of R. Crumb. My tastes have been getting progressively more mainstream. After college is when I started reading superhero comics although still stuff that skewed towards arty, Sandman, Animal Man, Marvelman/Miracleman, Watchmen (which I didn't care for), etc. That's also just about the time the New 52 hit. I'm still more of a DC guy than a Marvel guy. My favorite DC comics are Green Lantern, Swamp Thing, and Suicide Squad. My favorite Marvel comics are Journey into Mystery and New Mutants.

IRON MAN #1

November 6, 2012 3:35 am Land traces, that makes him not a good artist, but it doesn't make his art ugly. I don't get how people can have such a visceral reaction to his stuff. It looks like generic comic book art to me. It doesn't make me want to run out and buy other stuff by the artist but it doesn't take me out of the story either. The art has to be way way uglier to make me not like a book despite the author, Captain Marvel ugly.

JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK ANNUAL #1

November 2, 2012 7:04 pm Terrible. I've dropped this series even though I've read every issue of Hellblazer and have horrible OCD. It was that bad. I don't know what people are talking about "natural." They threw in these guest characters out of nowhere and they served no greater purpose in the plot. Add to that the cheesy Michael Bay movie dialogue "Game faces kids, time to save the world" and the poor art (everyone is doing a Reservoir Dogs swagger except for Black Orchid who's running yet she's still side by side with everyone?) This is just flat out bad.
