October 29, 2018 2:06 am Y'all aren't alone. Bendis on Superman is amazing. Every issue has at least one moment in which I'm flabbergast that people have had SUCH a hard time with writing Superman because Bendis seems to be doing it with ease. This is my favorite book of the year. What a freakin' time for Superman and Batman comics right now....

August 19, 2018 4:52 pm Conor mentioned recognizing Pepe Larrez from "something" during the discussion of Extermination - that something was the weird 12 issue weekly Avengers event from last fall. I really like the guy's style. And Extermination was surprisingly fun. Sure, I was baffled as to who Bloodstorm, the vampire Ororo was, but they resolved that quickly.

I read this book about 7 years ago as I got back into comics and thought MY GOD, THIS IS FUN AND SMART AND GOOD and haven't gone back to it so ... I had some concern that PAST me was different and uninformed. Glad to hear it holds up!! You've convinced me to reread it!
