June 21, 2012 2:27 pm I'm taking 90% of the town, most-likely Andrea too. As soon as the Glenn sub-plot came up, I figured Kirkman was rounding up all of the characters he was not yet ready to kill off and moving them away from the carnage which will ensue in their absence. I am hoping there will be more to it, and knowing Kirkman, there will be!
May 30, 2012 12:12 am That cover... just...just so bad. Everything about it. I'm sorry, but look at Fairchild's arm. Anatomy, man... (Who knows, it could be a really fun story though!)
May 22, 2012 5:13 pm I completely agree. I look forward to this book every month! The Oz mythos building has been great!
May 22, 2012 5:11 pm It is unfortunate that more people do not pull this book. I feel like most people were scared away by the slight confusing first issue. I am glad I stayed. Both a fun and cool looking book!
May 16, 2012 11:39 pm I actually wish that they would kill John here... The upcoming war needs to be more than just "changing of the guards." Have the Alpha Lanterns kill John while the Guardians watch and do nothing. It will make the battle personal. John's death would also bring together Hal, Guy, and Kyle again to kick some blue ass!
May 3, 2012 6:42 pm This was pretty good. The concept is wacky but also fun. The writing was a bit odd in some places. The art had an interesting look to it. Overall, decent.
May 3, 2012 6:24 pm Both stories were a lot of fun. I really did not care for Olivetti's art, however. I think I like Krul's bit more...It may also be that I am a sucker for Dinosaurs haha
May 3, 2012 6:15 pm I decided to read the first issue a couple days ago and realized I really loved this series. I did not expect to, but both the writing and the art are wonderful. Compared to GLC, I would pick this book 100 times over. Can't wait for more!
May 3, 2012 6:12 pm This issue was...interesting. I enjoyed the story, but I just can't see the relevance of it in the current run. The story, while pretty cool, just felt out of place. Now, we don't know where everything will be heading from here, so it may all make sense in the long run. I know many people say that about Morrision--that everything comes together at the end--I just hope that happens here. I really, really want to like a Superman book...
May 3, 2012 6:08 pm I thought this issue was a blast! The parts with the big three was fantastic and the characterizations were far more interesting than what was accomplished in Justice League's whole first arc (the last issue, however, was pretty cool--Except Green Arrows portrayal which was a bit too childish for me...I know the changes were made for a newer, younger audience so I felt okay in the end). The only reservations I have with my enjoyment is that it may have just been the initial shock of B,S,W all dying to save the world--something Johns could never do in JL. Robinson did not pull any punches and has set up a new Earth which I am excited to see more of!
