December 6, 2011 8:28 pm I barely ever read an Avengers comic before Bendis, but I've read it ever since. Because of Bendis' Avengers, I also started reading Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Moon Knight, Hawkeye, Young Avengers, Hulk, Spider-Woman, and plenty more characters and series I really never gave a second thought before hand. Which led me to discovering a ton of other writers and artists I've come to love as a by-product. Before Bendis' Avengers, I loved Spider-man. I loved the X-men. I loved the Fantastic Four, But Bendis' Avengers is what me made me love Marvel as a whole. As being more than the sum of it's parts. Thanks Bendis.
October 28, 2011 5:14 pm This was literally the X-men comic I've wanted my entire life. I wasn't a huge fan of the Morrison run, but I did love that he fully played up the school angle. After that, when Harry Potter and Naruto were the biggest kids products in the world, I couldn't fathom why the X-men abandoned the school aspect that they had pretty much invented. The wacky, Hogwarts-style aspect of the school being played to it's fullest is awesome and exciting.
October 24, 2011 11:02 am Hey now, Fraction and Brubaker might not have had the best runs, but let's not get hasty and lump them in with Austin.

October 20, 2011 11:28 am I will read this if, and ONLY IF the title remains “THE VENOM EVENT”, because that sounds hilarious and awesome.
October 17, 2011 11:39 pm Do you think that file on the cover is the same one with all Steve's notes about which super-heroines he think are slutty?
October 15, 2011 12:22 am Yeah, it's fairly obvious if your reading Amazing.
October 7, 2011 7:59 pm Yeah. Army/squad of Winter Soldiers. That sounds about right.
