As this is of course two separate stories, I’m going to split this up into two seperate mini-reviews. Part 1:…

January 12, 2013 11:37 am While I wouldn't quite say 'proteges', both Matt Fraction and Jonathan Hickman started working for Marvel co-writing with bigger Marvel writers (at the time), Ed Brubaker and Brian Bendis respectively. In fact, more recently, Sam Humphries started working for Marvel by co-writing Ultimates with Hickman.
January 8, 2013 5:51 pm The reason people are getting as mad about this as they are is because frankly, they've been tricked. The marketing, what Dan Slott's been saying and the fact that this is a new series all leads the reader to the false conclusion. Again, I don't want to spoil this issue, but if this had simply been the next issue of Amazing Spider-man, (perhaps even with the arc named "The Superior Spider-man"), people wouldn't have been so easily duped.
January 8, 2013 1:29 pm Superior Spider-man leaked yesterday. You may want to change your mind about not getting it. That's all I'm saying on the matter, as I don't want to spoil it.
October 30, 2012 9:20 am Captain Cold has superpowers in the New 52, right?
October 26, 2012 5:36 pm Not been a big fan of JRJr's recent work, but goddamn, the combination with him, Klaus Janson and Dean White is amazing.
October 18, 2012 3:19 pm YES. That issue was great. Alongside the Bendis-written "The Confession" as the greatest moment of Civil War.
October 9, 2012 4:18 am There are several things that have changed when it comes to comics piracy in the last year. One is the Megaupload scare. Many comics were uploaded to Megaupload, and once that was taken down, many uploaders upped sticks and stopped altogether, even if they used other services such as Mediafire. Another is the more recent demise of Demonoid. Demonoid was perhaps the second biggest torrent tracker behind the Pirate Bay, and has had a large impact. Despite some reports, this was not a 'technical fault'. The servers were in Ukraine, where having the servers is not against the law. However, the site was taken down by a DDoS attack, coinciding with a visit by the Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister to the United States to meet US Trade representatives, where one of the issues discussed was piracy. And of course, the move to digital has changed things immensely. Some scanners stopped scanning, because they claimed to only be scanning in the first place to have a digital archive. The move to digital also makes piracy easier than ever. Whereas before, you could wait several weeks for some comics to be scanned, any comic that is released digitally is uploaded almost instantly, though at a lower quality than the scanned copies.
September 5, 2012 2:56 pm Quite clearly the return of Thunderstrike. Right?
August 14, 2012 11:23 am Is working now. Don't know what the problem was, but I guess it sorted itself out.
August 14, 2012 9:54 am Not playing for me, and the download link seems to be dead :/
