New Comics for 10.24.2012 is going to be old enough to know better but still too young to care
October 23, 2012 5:11 am Only 3 (maybe 4) books this week.
The Flash #13
Teen Titans #13
Amazing #696
(maybe) Punisher War Zone #1, don't know if I ordered this one in time.
Oh, and I'm still waiting for Amazing #694 which was lost on the plane to South Africa a few weeks ago. I haven't read Spidey in while now 'cause of that, really hope it comes in this week.
BQ: 27, Noticed there are not that many kids on here.

iFanboy Upstarts: Renae De Liz
October 2, 2012 5:12 pm Some of this stuff is just fantastic, but I think her best work would be done away from superheroes. If she's coloring her own work that is to be commended as well, cause it is superb and varied. I like it, I like it a lot.

BATWOMAN #11
July 17, 2012 4:08 pm This series got me to answer a question I had asked myself; Is a writer or artist more important to me. I found out the writer is. Even when I was not really digging the art on Uncanny X-Force Remender still made it worthwhile, Williams gorgeous art without a strong story won't be keeping me around.

BATWOMAN #11
July 17, 2012 4:05 pm I feel better with myself knowing I'm not the only one who wasn't enjoying this. This will be my last issue although I must admit the idea of Williams illustrating Wonder Woman is tempting to say the least.

San Diego Comic-Con 2012 News Recap
July 16, 2012 10:37 am The best news for me was Lazarus. Rucka has been superb on Punisher, and I was quite amazed by Lark's issue in that run (It was the first time I had seen his work). So it works out pretty well saying goodbye to Punisher and hello to Lazarus; I just wish I didn't have to wait until next year for it.

San Diego Comic-Con 2012 News Recap
July 16, 2012 10:34 am I was also expecting more from Marvel. Maybe they should have held off the Marvel Now! announcement until Comic Con. I'm just dying for more news on it. When the new 52 was being unveiled their seemed to be news every other day. I get that Marvel is doing this over the course of 5 months instead of 1, but surely they've got to give us something soon! The most I've learned recently is that 3 of the 6 titles I'm pulling (Uncanny X-Men, Fantastic Four and Punisher) are going to stop being published by October and (maybe) get relaunched. I also don't get why Marvel didn't wait and include more of their recently launching titles as part of Marvel Now! Captain Marvel, X-Treme X-Men, Hawkeye, Gambit, wouldn't that have made sense?

DC Histories: The Untold Legend of the Batman
July 11, 2012 12:40 pm I've got 1 of these issues. I really loved it, I thought initially it was kind of an "elseworlds" type thing. Finding out where the inspiration for his costume came from was an absolute highlight.
